Once apart, never again.

Before there were constellations, there were pokemon living in the stars.
It was said to be a lonely existence, only seeing one another for a few moments-- never to meet them again.
This story is not like those;
This is the story of the first living constellation.

It is said that Mightyena once met Necrozma in the night sky.
He appeared lost-- forlorn.
“What’s wrong?” Mightyena thought to ask.
“I lost a friend on our way to the moon.” He replied.
Mightyena had met many other pokemon before, but never one that wished to stay with another.
Without a second thought, the Mightyena proclaimed:
“Climb upon my back-- we shall find your friend today.”

And so the two travelled together, hoping to find his friend.
Scolipede met Lunala among the stars who was lost and forlorn.
“Are you alright?” Asked the Scolipede.
“I lost my friend on the way here,” Lunala explained.
“I can travel the stars freely, but we were torn apart.”
“I will keep you company until he comes for you,” Scolipede replied.

And so they waited together, hoping the two would be reunited.

When the two pairs finally met, they were overjoyed-- but they had a thought.
What if they were to be separated again?
And so it was decided that they would never be apart:
Lunala and Necrozma combined with their new friends, so that the four of them could stay together.
They would never be alone again.
