Elias Blessed But Cursed

 Elias was born from a blessed Evoloon egg, but he hatched underdeveloped and weak. Taboo received the egg from Meep, a friend of the pack, who told her that the egg was cold for a long while and that he’s attempt on keeping it warm and alive yet not showing any progress. He was afraid it was dead so he was going to visit Yuki to have her take a look at it. Taboo insisted to take it herself as she felt a connection to it immediately and felt it was still alive. After Yuki inspected it she found out it had a heartbeat, it was faint but it meant it still had a chance to hatch. Taboo took care of it happily and was really careful with it. Even her father, InZane, helped her keep it save.

 One night when they were very worried about the egg, feeling much more colder than normal, it hatched. The loonling came out of its egg very underdeveloped, eyes still close, deft, weak, and unable to walk or barely move unlike other loonling when hatched, but it had metal claws. Taboo took care of him all night without sleep, but she knew he would make it as he was born with claws to keep fighting. The next morning she took him to Yuki. Both Yuki and Winterberry examined him, worried it was so weak, fragile, and underdeveloped compared to other loonling hatched. They told Taboo that he would need a lot more care and attention then other loonling for him to survive. Winterberry offer to take care of him but Taboo wouldn’t take her offer. She wanted to raise it as her own and give him all he needed. Therefore Taboo proceeded to take care of Elias as he’s mother with the help and supervision of InZane and Winterberry. Elias started to gain some weight and grow a little bit.
 
 Until one night a shadow like creature appeared. Taboo was so tired she was completely asleep and didn’t notice it. The creature stepped closer to Elias, after inspecting it, it surrounded him with a ominous mist placing a curse upon him. The next morning when Taboo finally woke she felt something odd and looked at Elias. Startled and frightening to find a horrifying creature laying next to her. She jumped to her feet waking the creature. It looked at her with bright eyes. Shock when she came to the realization that this creature was her son Elias. He recognized her and cuddle her while she was still trying to process the situation. She couldn’t wrap her mind around how this even happened. Taboo called out to her father who came rushing in. Shock to find his daughter with a strange creature. Taboo try to reassure him that it was no monster but in reality his grandson Elias. Neitherof them knew how it happened or what to do. Therefore they headed to Winterberry’s place for help.

 Taboo went to Winterberry, she try to explain what happened, while Winterberry looked at her quite confused, she thought that InZane’s influence on her made her a bit crazy. Once InZane walked in with little Elias she got frightened and jumped back. She calmed down after Taboo reassured her it was indeed Elias, Winterberry proceeded to inspect him without coming up with any answers. Then Winterberry asked InZane to go bring Yuki. When he went to bring her, Yuki didn’t take him seriously as he tends to mess with her quite frequently. Upon entering the room Yuki’s eyes widen in surprise. Before Taboo could explain what was going on Yuki saw Elias’ eyes and realized it was the little loonling that somehow looked like a terrifying creature. Yuki asked what happened and how, but none of them had an answer. Yuki and Winterberry proceeded to inspect and examine Elias. Concern InZane asked them if there was anyway to bring back to normal the little loonling. When Yuki took a closer look at Elias he bite her on the snout. The other got startled, but Yuki just let out a small “-ouch” as the little loonling was just playing with her and didn’t harm her at all. Yuki sniffled and grabbed her snout as she proceeded to say that Elias was unharmed and that this transformation didn’t affect him other that fisical appearance. Yuki and InZane started to show Elias how they could turn on and off their own upgrades. Elias chirped and try to immited them. Suddenly his monster appearance diminished. But not completely. Elias still had his metal claws which he was born with and his head was still skinless and bare like a skull. Winterberry asure Taboo that Elias was now healthy, stronger, and better overall from one he was hatched. Yuki instructed Taboo to keep a close eye on him, continue to teach him to control his appearance until he could turn back to normal. Taboo nuzzled Elias and picked him up.

 Taboo and InZane headed back to their place to rest and give Elias some breakfast. When Taboo stepped out to look for something she was confronted with a shadow like creature. Alert and cautious she stood there as the creature revealed itself. In front of her stood a devilishly looking ram, one that she had confronted before. Snarling at it she stood her ground while the ram proceeded to speak. It explained that after what she did to him he sought vengeance, he traveled all this way to killed her but found her nursing to a child of her own. Therefore he changed his plan and cursed her child instead. Now the loonling would be burdened by her actions. Elias would grow up strong and healthy, but with a horrifying appearance that would make all others fear him and while he would be unable to feel emotions like other or understand them. Taboo terrified and shattered by this launched at the ram attacking it. Failing to land a hit the ram vanished in a mist of shadow with a wicked laugh fainting away. Unable to do anything Taboo fell to her knees breaking down and crying. InZane heard her and came to look for her with Elias besides him. He ran to his daughter trying to help her. Between tears she managed to tell him what happened. Devastated Taboo hold Elias in her arms apologizing and hugging him with tears flowing on her face. While Elias looked at her monotone and unfazed as he did not understand what was going on. InZane try to calm her down and took both of them back inside. Taboo vouched to raise Elias to live a happy and fulfilled life while InZane promises to avenge his family.
