Ray Personality

Ray is a certified wild-child. Though she was initially a shy and bumbling little pup, she quickly grew into a rowdy individual while raised in the backcountry. Her constant activity translated into high amounts of energy, and before long there wasn’t much that could stop her once she kept going. She adores outstripping other dogs when it comes to stamina, and she’s no stranger to lording her athletic prowess over other dogs— especially those who think they’re the next agility show champion. She’s wily as well; she despises being restrained and prides herself on being a leash escape artist, but she’s more than content with trotting by her master’s side so long as they don’t make a move for her leash. At that point, she’s off like a bullet.

However, her bouncy persona doesn’t make for a sweet female. She’s never afraid to speak her mind nowadays, and though she’s fun-loving and the first to initiate play, she’s known to be bullish and selfish when it comes to getting her way, and devious when she’s plotting with like-minded dogs. Being eventually abandoned definitely didn’t help matters; Once her owner developed chronic joint pain and had to give Ray up to a more active owner, she became bitter and just a touch vindictive when dealing with other dogs. When annoyed or angry, she’s also prone to pushing her weight around and making her stubbornness stubborn, so nowadays she truly only listens to the most dominant demeanors. She readily respects authority, but now she’s also quick to test it. She’ll definitely keep any owner or dog on their toes.
