A couple of generations ago a glowing and sparkling cat led a bunch of stray cats into a forest. There the cats split into four clans. Each Clan had one part of the forest for their own to live and hunt in. The sparkling cat who led them there promised them a good life, if they are welcoming cats outside of their clans to join them, if they work together and support each other.

Setting:
In a world called Laika’s Layer lives an organisation of animals that helps rescuing cats and dogs from Earth to offer them a life in a world without humans.
Every half moon they send prophets to a special event in which the prophets meet with their ancestors in a dimension called Between World. These ancestors call their pack "StarPaws" and are led by Laika herself.
During the half moon meetings, the prophets receive guidance and missions they later have to discuss with their leader and the rest of their clan. They then send out their Recruiters, who hopefully will return with new recruits. The recruits called Laika's Followers will live in a special camp before the upcoming full moon.
Every full moon the local packs and clans meet at a cave called Cave of Freedom.
There the recruits can decide which group they want to join.
Animals migrating from Earth to Laika’s Layer are called a ”Follower of Laika“, as Laika was the very first creature to ever set paw to the world created for her and others who have been mistreated by human kind.
There are no humans on Laika’s Layer, but a couple of other threats.
Every fully trainered member of the dogs and cats who act under Laika's StarPaws will receives a special blessing. A feature to grow to fight with, protect or help their clan.
