Sports is my passion, especially volleyball. But I am a small little pokemon and can not jump that high to hit the ball.
It was the middle of the game, and one of the team had been injured, so I was to step forwards and take the court. The others hated it. I know I am not very good at the sport, and they are all hyper-competitive. Even though this is just a nothing game. I am in the back, not serving. The ball comes flying at me, and just as I am about to go for it, even calling out 'mine'. My teammate leaps in front of me, hitting the ball. I am saddened by this. The other team hits back the ball and scores a point. The game goes on, and the other team keeps hitting the ball at me; they think I am the weak link. But my teammate continues to steal it from me, not even giving me a chance. It makes me not even want to play or try.
Again they cast the ball at me, and my teammate goes for it, but their shoe comes untied, and they trip; why would a pokemon even be wearing shoes? Now is my chance; everything goes in slow-motion, I see my other teammates cringe, and I leap forwards. I am changing, growing taller, and I hit the ball, scoring the final point of the game. We won!
