Willow and Rowan. Rowan and Willow. They were always a Duo. Everyone in the capital knew that where ever one was , the other was close behind.

Rowan normally was the one to keep his twin out of trouble, but there was a few times when Willow saved him from social situations he dreaded.

Willow and Rowan. Rowan and Willow were such well known members of the royal family they often overshadowed their younger brother, Aspen.

Not that he minded much. He was much quieter compared to the twins. He was bookish and often found in the library or studying his magic. While the twins were loud and everywhere, Aspen had been graced with nature based magic stronger than anyone had seen in a century in the royal family. It made up for the fact the eldest of the three lacked any magic what so ever. Rowan was powerless in a kingdom where magic flowed in rivers and dances through the trees.

Rowan and Willow. Willow and Rowan. Willow had magic. Strongest healing magic that the kingdom saw . Rowan had none. It made him close with Willow. She looked after him and he protected her in his own way.

So when his family brought up arranged marriages, Rowan and Willow panicked. Rowan, panicking so hard, fled. He ran away from The Ruby Mists that surrounded Snowdonia. He wasn't even sure how he ended up in the devildom at first.

Willow and Rowan. Rowan and Willow. No more were the twins that would cause mayhem in the streets of the capital.

Willow and Aspen suddenly had more responsibilities thrust upon them then they would ever imagine due to the crown prince running away. Willow being much more understanding than Aspen, who lashed out bitterly when Rowan tried to contact them briefly.

And Rowan? Rowan had to deal with the fact he was so out of his element. Far from home. No money. Not a single soul cared about his title down here. And he had no Willow. No comfort of home.

He had to deal with the fact he made the bed and he had to lay in it.
