"Wait..!" Stilling in her tracks, Minato shifted to observe Uryu, a slight tilt of her head. "Let me walk you home." If she wasn't a professional on keeping her emotions intact, her face would be as hot as the setting sun.

Lilac hues scanned across the contents of the novel perched between lithe fingertips, nose close to brushing the page as a sigh fell from bubblegum pink lips. Being a spy was a job Minato didn't take lightly, however miniscule, but the longer it dragged out made her utterly bored with gakuen lifestyle. The repetitivity of it grew dull, forced to attend a school with a simplistic curriculum that a toddler could understand and being unable to pass with flying colors in fear of discovery made her stomach churn nauseatingly slow.

However mundane her endeavors reaped, she found excitement in Ichigo Kurosaki and his rag tag team of saviors. Befriending Orihime was shockingly easy, but earning Ichigo's and Uryu's trust was more complex; neither trusted easily but the blue haired Quincy was a challenge she enjoyed. Sharp ears perked up at the sound of the classroom door sliding open, her posture straightening as she straddled the desk chair and idled with the cotton candy spikes between her index and middle finger.

"I knew I'd find you here," A sigh followed by light footsteps and the adjustment of spectacles entered her eardrums. Uryu Ishida. "Come on, let's head home."

Peeking over the top of her book, a small smile graced her lips as lavender eyes sparkled with mirth at the irritation that crossed his expression at the coy smile, faint hint of a flush upon his cheeks. Stifling a chuckle, Minato stood and brushed down the gray skirt and swung her bag over her shoulder, book closing on itself while she fingered the corner of the page to mark it.

"You were waiting for me," Minato hummed, falling into sync with Uryu's footsteps that turned down the hallway. "It's almost like you have a crush on me, hm?" The flush that colored his cheeks festered into a deeper scarlet as lips trembled, stuttering over his words in an attempt to deny the accusations which made a chuckle leave Minato's lips.

"I'm kidding," I'm not. I want more than anything for you to love me, to tell you who I am, to be... honest. "You sure are red. I hope you're not getting sick." She falsely chided as palms opened the double doors of Karakura High.

"Wait..!" Stilling in her tracks, Minato shifted to observe Uryu, a slight tilt of her head. "Let me walk you home." If she wasn't a professional on keeping her emotions intact, her face would be as hot as the setting sun.

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" A smile crossed her lips. "Let's get going, Ishida-kun."
