Feather Trial

The evening breeze wafted through the luscious fur of a kiamara lost in deep thought. They seemed afraid of something as they sat there with a pout. 

"How do I even profess my love for someone?" Eros grumbled, full of butterflies. They had a special someone, someone they hold dear to them. They nay be friends at the moment, but perhaps they could be more? Or what if they rejected them.... the heartbreak alone would cause Eros to Spiral into a depressive state.

But if he doesn't tell this very special kia that he had feelings for them, then what happens? They'll stay friends and move on with their lives? 

He couldn't agree with a way to approach this lovely situation. He knew he couldn't sit back and not try something to impress his crush. He was extremely anxious but he knew, deep inside, that he had no other choice. He asked his crush to dinner in a prestigious Pandrea restaurant that served delicious food. 

He dressed nicely, with his unkempt hair, he dressed to impress as he had a smug look on his face. It seemed all the anxiety disappeared, however it was buried deep inside. His date has arrived... was it a date? 

"Here's your menu for tonight." The waiter told them with a smile on their face. The two maras sat down and looked at their menus.

Eros was surprised to find a feather tucked away in one of the pages, a feather for fighting anxiety. If he didn't fight it, he wouldn't be on this date tonight.
