EeveeParadise Community Quest Entry
Another EeveeParadise reputation quest entry. But this time for a community quest.
Radio, after being recruited to temporarily guard Banks's well bank as he takes a nap, is confronted by Deri who attempts to convince him to turn over some of the stuff in the bank as 'evidence' for a case Deri is trying to make. Although, dispite the bribe Deri offered, Radio is an asshole and decides to screw with Deri.
Author's Notes
In all honesty I was heavily considering agreeing to Deri's deal, but the urge to write about Radio being an asshole was too strong. XD
"No. No I won't." Radio flatly stated. He wasn't really in the mood for this type of annoyance today, and even though the bank keeper Meowth had dragged him into this he was still going to try and do a good job.
"Wait, really? I swear I wouldn't tell! I just need some-" Deri was going to launch into an attempt to try and convince Radio to help him, when Radio cut him off.
"Do you have a warrant?"
"N-no..."
"Then I'm not giving you shit." There was an obvious smugness in Radio's voice as he projected the best shit eating grin he could manage onto his TV head's screen. "Besides, I kinda blame you for this," he tapped the side of his TV head, "and I'm going to be a petty bitch about it."
Deri looked somewhat surprised for a moment, then a look of extreme annoyance came over his face.
"Really."
"Yes really."
"I can't believe you're acting like this."
"Well, first you don't have a warrant, and I'm betting you don't have a passport either, and you can't really take 'evidence' without a warrant, that would be stealing, not collecting 'evidence'."
"Why would I need my passport?" The white Eevee was completely thrown off by the passport comment.
"Second, the bank keeper is taking a nap, and even though I get jumping through hoops to prove a point, it's just an asshole move to try something like this while someone is taking a nap." The TV headed Eevee completely ignored the passport comment. "And third, I don't really like you." Radio stated with the same energy as a person reading off a list of chores.
"If the 'I don't like you thing' is about the TV head, I can assure you I had nothing to do with it." Deri was trying to come off as calm, but his annoyance was starting to turn to anger and it was starting to leak into his voice.
"Mhm, then tell me why the morning after I help you find something for what looked like an extremely sketchy experiment I wake up like this." Radio's voice and his expression radiated mild annoyance. He flicked his tail. "And other than that I just find you generally annoying."
Deri let out a frustrated bordering on angry growl.
"Come on, please! Just help me!"
"Again you don't have a warrant, nor a passport... So no."
"Pardon my language, but why the fuck would I need my passport!? You mentioned needing it before! Why would I need it!" The white Eevee was practically shaking with a mix of anger and slight confusion at this point. But all Deri got in return was a smug grin from Radio.
"Alright, what's going on out here?" Banks walked out from wherever he was taking a nap, and to the two arguing Eevees. He yawned. "You again? I thought I told you stay away." The Meowth said with a slight hiss, and a glare to the white Eevee. "Listen, thanks for the help but I'll handle it from here." Banks turned to the already riled up Deri and the two began to get into an argument.
Radio watched for a minute, shrugged and walked away.
