The Mezza-ian land where Alliamara is settled covers various types of terrain. There's a rocky part, a swamp-ish part and a whole forested one. Lately, the weather started to become colder, the nights longer and the clouds darker. It's looking like hibernation season for a lot of local species. The blue Grem has been busy with renovations and new rescues. She just sent back home a wounded goatpig, which reminded her first meeting with Locass. She was now almost considered a veterinarian by neighboring villages and towns and a lot of people turned to her for animal care advice or help. The shelter started to make quite a name, Alliamara was the first surprised.

A few weeks earlier, she found a bleeding frog between some rocks. She was afraid the little amphibian wouldn't make it, but as she tended to it, it seemed to regain strength. Alliamara was more familiar with mammals, birds and anything adjacent to them, so an amphibious creature was quite a new challenge. As usual she looked for documentation, cared for it like she'd care for any other beast. The frog was healing, with an eye missing but healing still. She felt a lot of affection but did her best not to get attached. The little swamp animal clearly was able to go back into the wild and didn't seem quite acclimated to a domesticated environment. She realised it could've been one of her Fezzarths fault, the big birds do like a little swampy treat... Guilt poured on her shoulders as she decided to let the frog go live its life on its own.

Early in the morning, before the other animals wake up, Alliamara transported the little frog from her terrarium to the furthest pond on her property.  This one no-one ever went around because it was partly made of peat. She carefully proceeded to her chosen spot, her feet sinking a little more into the peat each time. Stuck in a little glass jar, the frog stayed perfectly immobile while travelling. Halfway through her journey, she realised Rose had followed her, birdfeet feline looked like a feather, brushing through the grass and mud. The air was humid and the sky was dark, dimly lit by the setting moon. Alliamara wasn't that familiar with this part of the property, her arms full she carefully checked her surroundings to make sure she was on the right path. As she finally arrived, she sat down on a small bit of dry sand, and took the frog out of her transportation jar. Even with a missing eye, it looked fierce and slimy : a healthy little frog. It hesitated a bit in the palm of her hand, before jumping in the water.

Alliamara stayed there for a bit, she could vaguely see the frog swimming around and catch bugs to eat, probably preparing to hibernate. As the sun was rising, everything took an orange tint the same colors the walls of Santopae would have at dawn. This time, she didn't feel like she'd miss the big city.
