It was about three in the morning when Radio heard the wailing. He had been asleep having a nightmare about a AI who was forcing him to play solitaire or die, and then the wails of the damned woke him up. Radio struggled out of his mess of sheets and got up from his mattress. His room was originally the main control room of the factory, and it had been the first room that Radio had fixed and cleaned up, and he was proud of it. It was very clean for a room in an abandoned factory, and most of his things were tucked away neatly organized in boxes, shelves, or cabnets. Radio grabbed the length of steel pipe he kept for use as a emergency weapon from the corner of his room, and carefully creeped out from it. As he raised his pipe he quietly called out.

"Signal is that you? If it is you are being ridiculously loud. Go back to sleep." Radio called, trying to be quiet incase whoever it was wasn't Signal.

"Hello Radio!" Radio jumped slightly as Signal, the living mess of glitches and AI appeared from behind a corner. "I can confirm, I am not the source of the noise. Although I do wonder what is causing it?"

Radio hushed Signal with a paw to her face.

"Be quiet, if it isn't you that means someone broke in." The TV headed Eevee whispered. "Listen, I'll go check it out and if I call, come running, and do that weird thing where you turn all of the electronics in here on at once."

"Can do channel head. But do you hear that?"

   "Channel head? Wait-"

The noise had changed from wails of the damned, to sobbing child. Radio, having had enough of the noise, started to move towards the source, and as he rounded a corner and entered what was once the main production floor of the factory, then he saw why the noise sounded like sobbing.

"Um, hello? Are you ok kid?" Radio wasn't really sure what to do about the scene that was in front of him. There was a young Eevee spirit floating in the center of the room, and they were sobbing, although they got startled as Radio spoke up.

"H-hello?" The spirit asked tentatively, they sounded scared, and sad.

Radio had a decision to make either he could be a bitch like normal and possibly make the spirit Eevee cry more, or he could be nice and get it out of his factory and make sure that it wouldn't come back...

He chose the ladder of the two options.

"Hey there, uh, kid? Are you ok? Are you lost?" Radio tentatively asked. "Do you need... help?"

The spirit looked at Radio for a moment like he had just spoken in a different language.

"Y-yeah, I need help... I got lost and I don't know how to get home." The spirit whimpered. "But what happened to your head?"

"My head? Oh no, it's fine. What matters is getting you home, where do live?"

   The spirit sniffed.

   "In the Forest."

"Do you mean the 'Forest of Spirits' forest? Because if so I can get you back there."

   "Really?"

"Yes really, now come on, I'll get you home." Radio started to head towards the makeshift door he had made with a tarp painted to look like part of the factory wall. "Signal, I'm heading out! It was just the wind!" Radio called out.

"Oh, ok! Thank you! Thank you so much!" The spirit exclaimed, as they followed Radio out of the factory, and into the night, and later into the Forest.
