small thing further down; kyo kicks jari down there, nothing explicitly said but it does happen lmao, also very light flirting

"Come on, Jari! You knew what you were doing when you got me these!" He exclaimed when the koi gave it to him, a smirk tugging at his lips, it was a pattern that Kyo had slowly found more and more infuriating from him.

"What's wrong, Kyo?" Jari purred, the smirk finally spreading across his lips, "Not up to your standards?"

"No.. I mean, yes! They're beautiful, but to all that is sacred.. Stop getting me silk!" Jari only smiled as he continued his early gift giving. Kyo cared more about making gifts than receiving as he found it easier to give than to take. Even after years of other kois trying to convince him to take the gifts people get him easier, he refuses to budge.

"'Kyo, it's not that big a deal' they say, 'you'll love it' they said.." The koi hissed between his teeth as he began sewing the newest gift he was repaying to the koi, he was beyond appreciative of the new silk he had gotten him, yet trying to make it up was harder since his sense of style was so.. simple.

"All he wears is a jacket and a button up, what do I do with that!?" Kyo groaned as he checked the latest attempt, "I'm losing my mind."

"Hey designer."

"Out."

"All upset with me now?" Jari teased, "I thought you were grateful for all my silk."

"I am. But your style will make me want to quit."

"Have you not thought to ask me?" Kyo froze before whipping around to face Jari, "I thought you wanted it a secret!"

"You act like I care. I have more style than what I wear."

Kyo squinted at him in suspicion.

"That's just rude."

"Oh that's rich coming from you, Mister I snapped at the restaurant owner cause they didn't get my food right the first time."

"That was one time and when I was freshly corrupted." Kyo rolled his eyes before grabbing his measuring tape and beginning to get down Jari's sizes, "Oh, forward are we?" Kyo kneed Jari's crotch without hesitating, After a bit of recovering, Kyo continued to measure the koi's size and eventually got down a basic outline, "Okay asshole-"

"Still rude."

"-what am I making you?"

"Can you make me a full bodysuit and a deep v shirt?" Kyo began sketching before pausing and giving him a confused look, "A.. full bodysuit?"

"I just want some parts of my feet and my hands out, and those thumb holes."

"Why're you asking me for this exactly?"

"I can't find anything that fits me properly, I don't like showing my body while I'm working out."

There was a small moment of silence before Kyo opened his mouth, "I'm not even gonna ask when you began working out, but I'll do my best, do you want shorts too?"

"No, I found those, thanks though. just let me know when it's done. You don't need to waste money on a box." Jari turned to walk out before Kyo grabbed his non-spiked wrist, "Do you want me to accommodate for your corruption? I'd need to do accurate measurements."

"That'd.. be very nice. I didn't know if it was more work or not."

"It'll be like the thumb hole, super stretchy and can be adjusted, I just need to know the space between all your spikes." Kyo grabbed a small bit of fabric before carefully moving around Jari's spikes to begin a toile of his full bodysuit's arms and wrists.

For the rest of the day, Kyo made careful adjustments with Jari's help which reminded him why he enjoyed Christmas, or even the time leading up to Christmas. Making things for other kois made him beyond happy and seeing their face at the final product was worth the headache he brought himself, even if it was someone as annoying as Jari.

Though, all of that came after the fact and he can barely forget the work he piles up for himself with orders and return gifts to his friends, but he puts the most care possible into every piece he does for all of them and a busy schedule wouldn't change a thing, unless he was too tired to continue, that'd put a dent in things for sure.
