[EeveeParadise Rep Quest] Garden Supply Gifts
After hearing Deanna's dream of opening a gardening shop, Oddity offers to give Deanna some of his unused gardening supplies to help Deanna get started with his dream.
"You know, I think I can help you with your dream Deanna!" Oddity said, a exited gleam coming into his eye.
"Really? You could?" Deanna blinked before his voice and body language started to fill with a mix of curiosity and a tidbit of excitement.
"Yep! I may not have a building you could use as a shop, but I have plenty of gardening stuff I've never used." Oddity nodded, a smile on his face. "I tried to get into gardening a few times, but it didn't really stick."
"O-oh! Where are the supplies?" Deanna shifted slightly on the bench the two were sitting on.
"The supplies are in my personal storage unit, I can go get them if you'd like."
"I'd like that very much! Could you drop them off at my workplace please?"
"Yes indeed I can!" Oddity got up from the bench the two were on. "You can expect the supplies later today."
"Oh by the way, what type of supplies do you have?" Deanna asked.
Oddity made a small 'hmm' before answering.
"I have plenty of plant pots, two sets of basic gardening tools, and one or two of those rubber mats that you kneel on." He responded, a look of embarrassment coming over his face. "I know it's not much, but it's something! Although I get it if you don't want that stuff."
"Oh no, that's fine!" Deanna gave Oddity a smile his tail wagging. "In all honesty that's more than I expected from someone like you."
"Someone like- do you mean a theater kid? Because believe me, we theater kids have our secrets!"
Oddity's obviously fake upset response got Deanna to start giggling.
"I don't doubt that!"
"Good! Now then do you still want the supplies?"
"Yes! It's a small start, but it's a start nonetheless!" Deanna happily nodded.
"Alright then! I'll go get the stuff and drop it off at McNexans, do you want me to hand it over to you directly, or drop it off by the back door?" Oddity asked.
"I'd prefer it if you could hand it over directly! It'll be easier, and it won't be able to get stolen."
"Got it!" As Oddity started to walk away, he looked over his shoulder. "I should be able to get the supplies to you by the end of the day!"
Deanna nodded with his tail wagging and a smile on his face.
"Ok! I can't wait!" Deanna happily chirped.
