Prologue The time before the mercenary.

Who the mother of Angel is unknown. Them being barely two years younger than Byleth leaves multiple questions unanswered but there is only one thing clear, their mother is not Sitri since she died in the birth of Byleth. Even if the question is left in the air, Jeralt raised Angel full of love. The mercenary life wasn't the best for a single father with two children but Byleth was quick to learn the art of the sword while Angel took the strategist route and constantly drowned themself in books. While also learning how to use the lance just like her father, being able to copy his movements by just watching him. Something about the Eisner siblings is that they had rapid learning speeds. The two of them were oblivious to the world outside of their mercenaries' life, even if Angel was a bookworm, they never found interest in the church or what god they worshiped. While Byleth acquired the title of Ashen demon by their fearsome, unflinching courage in battle. Angel received the title of Fallen Angel because of their angelic appearance but their misleading intentions. Often helping the enemy in the middle of battle by healing them, helping them Espace, or even telling them some of Jeralts mercenaries' weaknesses. Just to be led into their trap, Giving their older sibling more playtime with the enemy. Something they started doing early into their teen years since Byleth keep complaining about enemies being too weak, and who is Angel not helping their beloved sibling.

Academy Phase Blue Lion, Angel mage.

While the house leaders are mesmerized by Byleth skills, Angel clings to Jeralt as their life depends on it. This usually happens when there are new people around, even though the person they usually cling to is Byleth. Angel didn't like the idea of going to the monastery but since her dad used to be a Knight of Seiros that meant the place was safe enough. Rhea Impressed by Byleth skill, hires them to become a professor of the students as a vacancy had just opened up. Despite Jeralt's wariness, Byleth accepts the position after Jeralt himself is asked to rejoin the Knights of Seiros and allows Angel to become a student of the house Byleth choose to teach. Afterward, Angel becomes upset over everyone getting important roles but them. Eventually, Jeralt calms them down by reminding them of how much knowledge they could obtain by becoming a student here. After seeing how huge the library was, Angel was okay with the idea of staying in the monastery. As Byleth choose the Blue Lions to teach, Angel followed thru with being a student in that house.

Line of events

(26th of the Blue Sea Moon - Byleth and their class believe that the note was supposed to mislead everyone and the enemy has an ulterior motive. During the month, the class gathers intel and concludes that the enemy plans to pillage the Holy Mausoleum, as the tomb is open during the Goddess's Rite of Rebirth. Intruders from the Western Church invade the Holy Mausoleum and open Seiros's casket, revealing only the Sword of the Creator resting inside it. Byleth recovers the sword and is able to unlock the sword's power. Hanneman discovers that Byleth's mysterious Crest is the Crest of Flames and is authorized by the Church to hold on to it.) Byleth tries to get Angel to use the Sword of the Creator but fails in doing so since Angel doesn't have the crest of flames.

26th of the Ethereal Moon - Byleth and co. investigate the old Chapel where Monica assassinates Jeralt.

After the death of their father, Angel becomes miserable. Being close enough to witness the death of her father but far enough to be unable to help him will hunt Angel to the end of their days. However, who would have seen it coming? a girl they just rescued leaving the scene as Angel came back to check up on her family just to see their father get stabbed in the back by said girl. ‘I wish I was the one that died’ was a daily thought for Angel as they grieved separately from Byleth as they both blamed themself for the death of their father. While Byleth was quick to set for revenge as their form of coping with his death, Angel was still in denial as their mental health declined. Occasionally hearing Jeralt or seeing him in places where he wasn't. Then she started to have nightmares whenever she wouldn't sleep by his grave on his sofa at his headquarters. To the point where her classmates started to get worried about their behavior.

31st of the Guardian Moon - Byleth's class confronts Monica, who reveals her true identity as Kronya. Kronya is sacrificed by Solon in an attempt to banish Byleth from the darkness of oblivion. Byleth escapes after wholly merging with Sothis and becoming the Enlightened One. Angel wasn't okay with the idea of chasing after Kronya since they had a bad feeling about the whole situation but they couldn't let Byleth just fight the murderer of their father by themselves. So they followed close behind as they would usually do on the battlefield. This leads to the Eisner siblings being trapped in the darkness of oblivion. Solon stated that “They are siblings, I don't want the Fallen Angel to eventually become a problem too.” To get out of the darkness, Sothis merged with both Byleth and Angel now allowing Angel to use the sword of the creator.
