Unexpected Help

The inside of the estate was humming with noise, it was always busy within the Krool household and Dravmos knew this much whenever he would come back to his mistresses’ call. He rarely found a reason to say no, she was so sweet to him even if the standard of their relationship was strange to many outside their sort of standard. It was tiring though, leaving the dark haired male swirling the ice cubes and caramel colored liquid in the shorter cup he had recently acquired. Brining the glass to his lips, he took a sip as he listened to some noises of the young master being home and decided it was time to take a break outside.

He was well informed what his sister and the young master were up to, as he did similar things with his mistress. What's more, being a lust demon he himself knew what one would be up to when that person you have made yourself adore returned to your warm embrace. Knowing all that he did, that didn't mean he wanted his ears sullied with their noises. So he looked outside for his freedom, humming to himself as he headed out to the fresh air he so often craved.

He was only here a few more days before his mistress became busy once more and he’d be allowed to head off, and he couldn’t wait for this to occur. He adored his mistress, loved how she was so gentle and in a way loving towards him, but he knew it would never work no matter how well he loved and cared for her. Maybe that was why she was so lax with him, knowing their relationship would always be master and servant, but he often pushed that out of his head.

Outside was more pleasant than the inside, sunny and warm as some of the natural hell wilderness was enjoying what they could. Some birds sat on the gate and among bushes and foliage to do whatever birds did best, while the strange hell rodents were sitting among trees and higher places to eat any nuts or food they foraged. It reminded him of his outside times as he traveled, as he went through forested areas on his way to the next city he may want to see. Slowly though, his eyes set on something more brightly colored. A male appearing hell citizen whose face was currently pressed against the bars of the side gates. SIpping his drink again, he slowly approached, looking to the gaze that was affixed to his sibling’s room and currently closed.

“Can I help you, sir?”

Ezekiel jumped a little, not noticing that he was no longer alone. He backed away from the gates immediately, trying to regather himself. He was actually scouting the area, checking for what sort of paths he might be able to take the next time he wishes to sneak in.

"Sorry--," he found himself apologizing, rubbing the back of his neck. Although it wasn't like he was /actually/ sorry. "I was looking for a job?" he lied, just as easily as he breathed. "And this place here looks like y'all might have a *lot* of job opportunities, heh."

Staring at the other with their brighter colored hair as he listened, Dravmos was still as he kept his drink on the move. Maybe a habit of a sort, wanting his drink to be cold so it would go down more smoothly, even if at the moment it was cold enough the glass was frosting from the ice. He did stop as he noticed, looking at the glass before taking a sip and letting the words settle in his mind. As he was thinking them over, there was another thing he noticed which was a rather distinct *floral and sweet smell*.

It was common with women, wanting to smell like the beautiful bounties the earth would give but not the earth itself, and there were many reasons for someone to smell like such. This smell though, it was a more unique smell he knew well. There was more to it, and sadly he was a species that noticed it easily even if at times he wished he wasn’t more sensitive to smells.

“Jobs that get you closer to Lilinaya?” He started off, well aware there was someone who snuck in but didn’t know their reasoning behind their actions as they didn’t seem to cause much trouble or take anything in the end.

Ezekiel's eyes widened, clearly startled, but then relaxed into the shape of upwards crescents, a smile never leaving his face the entire time. His tail swished violently however, despite how hard he tried to hide his agitation.

"I guess I'm so easily figured out, huh," he stated. Finding that there is no more need to hide his intentions, he leaned further onto the gates, his expression looking as if wanting to goad Dravmos. "So? Are there any jobs that can get me closer to Lilinaya?"

He spoke her name so familiarly, as if he truly had the privilege to do so. And perhaps he did, since Lilinaya did say that he could call her so familiarly like that. As he spoke, he wondered if his familiarity with her would bring himself trouble. After all, this is Lili's sibling, correct? He may not have seen him but he heard his voice - it may had been slightly muffled but he's sure it's him.

... Honestly, a smarter man would have behaved better in the face of a person who is the sibling of the person he fancies, alas, his trouble-making nature eludes him...

“She is my twin sister, I know her well even if at times I wish I didn't.” Drav had no ill feelings for his own family, in a way adoring them even if he knew they were considered a lower ‘class’ than he was now. There was a divide of a sort, between his raised life and bloodline, but he knew there was a fondness even if he felt like his sister was silly in her wishful love for the master who adored her enough to claim as his own.

“I can't say there are any jobs that would suit you that would get you closer to her, she’s rather well protected and loved by the younger master. Not many are allowed near her or in her presence due to her... title. She is after all a favored pet of a sort, as I’m sure you’d noticed in your short run through.” It made him curious what this new... man wanted to do with her. He didn’t look to be one of the master’s friends, far too much of a street rat to be considered one with them.

“Do tell me though, what are your intentions with Lilinaya? What are you trying to get to her for? I may be happy to help with a little bit of extra information as I depart in a few days.” What happened when he left was no longer of his business after all. It all left to the household to maintain themselves as he left to see the lands beyond. “Be warned about any attempts of a lie, I don’t take kindly to attempts of misinformation or ill desires on family.”

Ezekiel was surprised that Dravmos would even agree to at least help him in the first place and became so excited by the prospect that his previously-smug behavior immediately changed to that of a smitten boy. Sure, he had said a whole bunch of other things before that as well but, he'd agreed to help - he'd agreed to help!!!

When Dravmos warned him about any attempts of hurting his family however, he immediately turned serious. He put on his most solemn face and replied, "I only wanna get her out from here." He paused, before adding, "It's unnatural, I think, for someone to lack freedom. Call me wild or unhinged or whatever, but I think she deserves a life more than just...this...whatever this is."

He stopped then, pressing his lips into a tight line as he considered his words further. He thought back to the words he told Lilinaya when he'd tried to persuade her to leave with him, and decided to repeat it back to Dravmos.

"I have...the resources to give her a comfortable-enough life." He tightened his grip onto the gate that he'd been holding on to, heart soaring in hopes that Dravmos would understand how serious he's being. "It's not going to be as lavish as whatever her master could provide, but, she'll have enough to sleep, to eat, to wear... And I-"

He strengthened his eye contact with the male before him before finally concluding, "And I won't ask her for anything in return at all, not one bit."

Listening carefully to what the male was saying, he was quiet as he debated over the words. Were his intentions true? Or just lies to get at the well protected female who people would swoon over for her talents and beauty. In the end, between the uncertainty in his words and stumbling, Drav decided that this male was true enough about what he said. Only time would tell if he made that right choice now, but he knew Lilinaya knew how to keep herself safe and tried not to linger on any thoughts of the future.

“We were born into this life and in a way bonded with whatever pain we had to endure. The family, though from the outside seems to live to their name, are very reasonable aside from the master that Lil had been given to. Try to understand that much for now, even if you don't agree. Pressing too hard too fast may have the opposite effect after all.”

Getting a nod, be it as agreeing or just acknowledgement to the words, Dravmos knew he couldn’t do much else when trying to be vague to all those ears that could be listening. Motioning for him to hold out his arm, once he did Drav grabbed his arm and a burning sensation would spread over his arm. There were no visible marks, but that didn’t mean the odd feeling went away. With that though, he waved him off, and headed in.

But once he was far enough away the sensation burned a bit more, as what looked to be faint marks read **Meet me back here on the night of the third day..**
