A little festive Mishap

Bian was simply enjoying a cup of tea after the events of the aptly named Winter Welcome, all was peaceful within the sprawling apartment he shared with his lover, Bishop. That was until the door to said AW0001’s slammed open.

“Bian! You won’t believe this SHIT!”

Bishop’s voice rang out from upstairs and got louder as he descended the spiral staircase, his metal feet causing sparks to fly off as he stomped down. Bian could hear the other AW0001’s holobuddy beeping in concern as it trailed after him.

“What won’t I believe?”

The calm Android soon had a cell phone screen shoved into his face. It had a social media post in which another AW0001 under the name of Luca had posted about how it was super cool to have met KARL at the Bingo’s Lucky Break stall during the Winter Welcome.

“Umm, is it that unbelievable that KARL was there? I mean he is a…”

Before Bian could finish his statement Bishop cut him off.

“Luca didn’t meet KARL! He met me! PERSONALLY.”

Bian opened his mouth but just shut it as Bishop continued ranting.

“What does KARL have a monopoly on helmets!? UGH. Just another reason not to go to The Digital! That’s it, I’m banning him from all the Lucky Break Halls.”

Bian actually DID interject for that line of thought. “Bishop, that’s silly. One, KARL didn’t do anything wrong, and TWO, alienating an entire customer base is not good business sense. And if you calmed down, you would know that.”

“I AM CALM.”

Bian simply raised an eyebrow at the irritated man who began to take the hint and settle down.

“Alright, point taken, Bian. Thank you.”

He nodded as Bishop slicked his own hair back, his visor showing the icon that always seemed to display when he was thinking.

“I mean, I guess I could correct them online. But really what’s the point?”

Bian nodded as Bishop continued to talk.

“Okay. I’ve decided that I’ll just let this slide. KARL is way too popular to make an enemy of. Besides, he's the only one I trust to do my repairs. I AM going to have a talk with Bingo and Harels about this though.”

-MEANWHILE in The Digital-

Harels was hard at work hand sewing plushies as Bingo took inventory of the leftover stock from the festival.

“Hey Bingo, do we have any KARL plushies left or did we completely sell out?”

The mute AW0001 quickly signed back. “No. All gone. Have many Boone left.”

“Aw really? I thought those turned out super cute too. I guess we didn’t really market Clover enough though.”

Confusion passed over Bingo’s helmet as she signed “Clover?”

“Uh yeah. Clover you know, your super cute penguin like Chruble with the surfboard tail?” Harels lifted up the corresponding plushie which caused Bingo to angrily sign at him.

“His name is BOONE. Did you misname him on the form!?”

“Oh well, I better let you get back to taking inventory! I have a lot of plushies to go make! Okay bye-bye!”

Harels quickly bolted from the room trying to dodge the plushies being pelted at him.
