This is a draft of Doveflame being called out for being viciously protective of her clan. This is canon though it isn't completely set.

Confrontation

Doveflame had her paws squarely on the toms shoulders as he looked up at her in horror and a fear Batspark had never seen before. “I’m sorry, I won’t come back, I didn’t know any cats lived here now.” he said urgency in his voice. The kittypet was clearly trying to negotiate. Batspark should have stepped up, should have said something to stop her. But even if he had she would have killed the kittypet. The moment Batspark caught a glimpse of her expression he knew she wasn’t seeing past her rage. As he approached, steeling himself to haul her off of the innocent kittypet she lunged. He winced and leapt forwards, Managing to fasten his teeth in her scruff at the exact moment she bit into the toms neck. The tom let out a horrible scream of pain, his body convulsing. Batspark ripped Doveflame away from him, throwing her away from her victim and crouching by the now bleeding tom. “Hold on.” he said urgently, fear making his paws tingle. He tried to remember what to do when a cat was bleeding like this. He looked up to a shadow, sitting there ominously still. “You know it's too late” the starclan cat said after a moment. As the words left the ghostly cat's mouth he felt the kittypet fall still, a gurgling sound leaving his mouth. “Oh starclan no-” Batspark breathed out, it felt as if the world was crashing down around him and he took a deep breath. He dug his claws deep into the dirt and felt the earth beneath his paws. After centering himself he turned to Doveflame, who had the brain to look ashamed of her actions. Batspark barreled at her furiously. His hackles raised menacingly. An abandoned fox den was nearby and he hauled her into it, unhooking his claws from her pelt and shoving her into the den. He blocked the entrance. “Let me guess.” he snarled fear and fury turning his blood freezing cold but at the same time burning hot. His pelt felt as if it were flaming. “He posed a threat to the clan.” For once Doveflame looked scared, standing a few mouse lengths from Batspark. Her pelt was bushed up and blood flecked her muzzle. “I just reacted, I’m… Batspark…” she fumbled and it seemed to make Batspark even more livid that she didn’t know how to answer. In the shadows the same Starclan cat sat. Batspark caught the glimmer in her eyes and he growled. “There is no excuse for what you just did.” He hissed, stepping closer to her. “There will never be an excuse for killing another cat. Not only is it against the clan but that cat had done nothing. You killed a completely innocent cat Doveflame. That cat could have known Haycloud or any of the other warriors that came from the twoleg place.” He shook his head. “The violence. The fierce loyalty that borderlines on cruel, you have to stop Doveflame.” he narrowed his eyes at her, claws sliding out of their sheaths. “You cannot continue to do this to the clan. The irrationality, brave heroic front. One day you will get a clanmate killed and when you do there will be no one to protect you.” He forced this through gritted teeth, taking a step forward. “How would Haycloud let you stay? Koistar? After they see you get a clanmate killed for nothing but your stupidity and ego?” He watched the starclan cat slide away from Doveflame and though he couldn’t see her he knew she stood behind him. “Will you tell the clan?” Doveflame finally asked, her voice frightened and full of regret. Batspark hesitated, unsure of how to answer her question. The starclan cat put her tail on Batspark’s back, tapping lightly. He hissed, not knowing what the starclan cat wanted. “No.” he said finally hackles still raised “but you will bury that poor kittypet alone and come back with clean claws and fur.” he paused. “I also want to see you come back with at least 4 pieces of prey.” He smoothed his pelt and turned his back on Doveflame, walking through the starclan she-cat and watching her disappear into smoke around him. He stalked out of the fox den and looked back at the dead cat one more time, praying to starclan that no one else had seen Doveflame kill him.
