RP Rules

•Semi-lit writing style minimum•

Sorry for any who are script style, but I prefer a bit of detail when reading. If you have a descriptive style of writing, this can be discussed. Otherwise, I'd prefer to have more of a literary writing style going on. I'd also prefer if grammatical errors and typos were kept to a minimum. No one likes reading "lorem ipsum" when trying to RP. Typo rule doesn't apply to non English speakers or people with different native languages. Meanwhile my Americans who are still writing angel as angle, exit stage left because I just can't with y'all.

•No smut/NSFW without plot•

There has to be plot/reasoning or chemistry between the characters for things to happen. I don't just do straight up smut to do smut. Rarely will there ever be an exception to this, even if I ask for ERP. Why are they doing the deed? What lead to this? Is there build up for both characters? Bread and butter is good, but buttered toast with jam is even better.

[This is a rule for 18+ ONLY and an absolute that will not be flexible if added.]

•I Only Use Discord for RP!•

Really important rule!!! Please DON'T hit me up on TH alone, as I don't check in frequently and I don't see notifications because of that. Hitting me up here first is okay but you're really more likely to get my attention sooner by using Discord and just waiting a shorter while for me to accept your friend request. At longest it takes me 2 days, at quickest 10 minutes. However, if you only message me here I guarantee that you probably will either forget about your message or even worse lose interest in your offer to begin with due to me I taking months to check in here.

•Try your best to match length•

This is less needed and more preferred. Honestly I only have this rule because I don't enjoy writing a paragraph and getting two lines in response that I can barely work with. All I ask is that you try. If for some reason you can't get enough, let me know and I'll either let it go or help you extend the response. The minimum I usually ask is that I get half of my response back in reply. If I give you a 6 sentence reply, 3 sentences is okay to send if it's not just "she was sad. she cried a lot. she cried tears from her eyes." This is like baking a cake together. You can't just lick my whisk and only put the cherry on top. Give me something with meaning.

•Don't take a ton of characters or too little•

Let's make things fair and balanced with who's playing who so no one is doing too much. This rule only applies if other characters get involved, such as in fandom RPs or RP scenarios where more characters are added. This is often discussed in the planning stages but I just want to make it clear that I don't want either of us to be overwhelmed.

•I Use OCs and Do my OC x CC Pairings•

I double up in fandom situations sometimes but please note that I am a very avid OC maker, so I will often be using my own OCs. I have far too many to make wikis or pages for, so just ask about my OCs for the situation we're doing. Chances are most of my OCs won't have creditable art (ie amino artists I can't properly credit anymore or picrews I've had as sole references forever and lost the original link to) or just won't be able to be displayed in a flattering way on here. Most pairings I do in fandom RPs will be my OC x CC/Canon, so please be aware of that.

•Availability•

My availability is often all around and never really consistent. Keep in mind that I have people to take care of, a job, and just a life in general offline. If I don't respond in a hot bit, be patient. You're free to poke or chat with me OORP as well. Just for the love of all that is holy in this world do not spam or insist on me replying every few minutes or every day unless I tell you to "hold me to it" or something. Spamming once every day just makes me imagine you as a 9yr old who just got their first tablet. A good frame of time to think about is waiting for an Amazon package, ha ha. If I'm completely silent for about 2 to 5 days, give me a good nudge and check in. If I'm replying at least once on and off each day, maybe ask once if I'm busy but otherwise just be patient.

•Pairings•

All! All pairings are okay with me! There are the obvious no-no's of z00philia and p3d0 stuff, but otherwise I'm game! GxG, BxB, NB ships, GenFlu ships... Anything! I'm not picky and am an AVID multishipper, so just list a ship, scenario, trope, or whatever and I'll agree or disagree to it! My usual preferences are BxG or GxG, but I'm not fully opposed to gender swaps or even character age ups (depending on the situation and preferences). The only thing I'm not as comfy with is Poly/Non monogamy, as it's just not my cup of tea. I'm not poly-phobic or anything, I've just not had cool irl experiences with it and would prefer if most mentions of it are kept as brief OORP convos.

•⚠TRIGGERS⚠•

Ch0king/Str4ngling, vivid descriptions of 1ns3cts, and details of basements are my only major triggers, though even those have certain loopholes to avoid them being triggering for me. Safer to stay away from them, though. Otherwise, stomp the angst pedal to the edgy metal. I'm ready for it!

However, most of my characters involve many not so comfy things in their backstories, development, stories, and etc. The main ones I can think of for most of them are vi0lence, D3ath, Rxp3, mentions and depictions of Mental Illnesses (some written fairly accurately and some purposefully inaccurate/stereotyped such as an OC with a form of DiD that is purposefully written as a trope), Nihilistic/Sxicidal behavior, Drxg use, psych0pathy, g0re, and much more. So I'm definitely not the person to come to if you're looking for a 100% pure and wholesome slice of life with lots of fluff and no sadness kind of thing. I CAN do wholesome stuff, but it is literally like an extra layer of difficulty for me to not have some amount of angst or major tension in a story. So definitely don't come to me if you just want a super fluff filled highschool anime kind of roleplay, ha ha.
