As your patrol enters Moonlit Cave, they're suddenly met with a terrified Incineroar/Cloud. They tell the Pokemon that they were sparring with their friend, a Zweilous/Gem+Slime, suddenly became unusually aggressive. Their friend is still deeper in the cave, rampaging. What do your Pokemon do?

Chapter 2

Drip, Drip, Drip

The Monotonous sounds of the Moonlit Cave played on a loop as Prismstream and Snarlpaw made their way deeper in. Today's outing into the cave was proving to be a quiet one, just a simple border patrol down in the tunnels near the edge of RoseliClan territory.

Any calm that had been there was broken in an instant, the thudding of paws and scratching of claws on stone as a large cat pokemon barreled through the corridor on all fours. Its mad dash was stopped only when the pokemon crashed into Prismstream sending the two of them tumbling to the ground.

“H-hey listen you gotta help me,” The Incineroar said shakily, helping the small dragon up from the ground, “Just over there I was sparring with my friend Zweilous, and then outta nowhere they just started going mad!”

“Oh my, do you have any clue as to what could have set them off?” Prism stream asked.

“Honestly, no idea. We were just training like normal, a bit of friendly smack talk between friends and all that, but they’ve never gotten like this before.”

Pushing the younger dragon out of the way Snarlpaw cut into the conversation, clearly wanting this issue done with, “Ugh ok listen, were you looking at or addressing one specific head when you were ‘smack talking’ during your spar”

“Maybe? I might have been. Why would that be important?”

“Look Zweilous tend to get jealous, very jealous if they think only one of them is being paid attention to, believe me, I’d know. Anyways we can sort this out by just knocking some sense into them. C’mon, let’s get this over with.” With that Snarlpaw started making their way down the path the Incineroar came from, Prismstream following close behind.

The closer the group got to the sparring caverns a multitude of violent noises that could be heard increased, the gnashing of teeth, the crashing of something large into the stone walls, and the splashing of a thick liquid being thrown around. Finally arriving at the room the scene was just as bad as the noises implied, chipped walls and the floor littered with debris and slime, all with a single rampaging Zweilous at the center. Heads whipping around to face the new presence in the room it clumsily charged, tail glowing with a scaly green aura ready to attack

Quickly dodging the sluggish dragon tail aimed at them, Snarlpaw retaliated with a well-aimed dragon pulse knocking the already weakened pokemon unconscious, stopping its rampage in a rather anticlimactic manner. By the time the dust had settled, Incineroar was already by their friends' side assessing the damage done to Zweilous by both itself and the patrol group passing through.

“Don’t worry I didn’t rough them up that bad, I’m sure they’ll be back up in an hour or so. Just be sure to take them to the medic I guess, oh and be sure to set things straight with them, let them know you didn’t know and that you’ll be more careful about it in the future or something like that.” With that Snarlpaw started back on their patrol path, Prismstream struggling to keep up with his teammate's sudden departure, quickly bidding farewell to the pokemon they had just met.

“Was that much force really necessary?” Prismstream questioned once the two were out of earshot, “They already looked pretty worn out.”

“I get it you like trying to talk things out before getting violent, but like there was no way talking was gonna work here.”

Now with something to buttheads about it's certain that the calm that the patrol previously held would not be coming back as the two dragons continued along their path.
