Neopolitan: Her Story
Once upon A forgotten time in history, lived a heroine. She had thick curly hair and dark sun kissed skin. But these physical features are inconsequential to her story and who she once was. Born into an unforgiving land, she faced incomprehensible maddening creatures. Her story ends in misfortune but is written with honor and respected by those who listen. Through her goals of ridding the world of these sickening creatures, she was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice. Unfortunately, her demise took the form of an Eldritch witch. A very powerful entity that prided itself in raining destruction and chaos upon the mortal plane and obstructing the souls lost to its fruitless wrath.
The battle was laborious but the creature's fateful end was inevitable. Upon realizing this the witch hurled its remaining power at our heroine consuming her in unrelenting teal flames. While the witch and the heroine perished that day, only one laid to rest. The teal flames and raw power burned away the flesh and bone, leaving only our heroine's soul behind. Cursed and tormented, the heroine's soul was twisted into the form of a crystal and as the indignatious witch drew its last breath it condemned her soul to never be at peace. Forever binding its will to her soul before ceasing to exist, our heroine is damned to live and die a million lifetimes only to be reborn from the agonizing flame again and again until the end of time.
