Weekly Prompt

It was a beautiful day outside, and Wanda had decided to prepare a picnic and eat it on one of Naeyouk's hill. She had recently visited this planet and found the perfect spot for her picnic: under a large tree with lots of foliage to protect her from the sun. The forest was close to it, enough to bring some cold breeze. The pink veela had organised everything inside her basket: bread slices, jam, chicken sandwiches, some chocolates and even a pack of cards in case she wants to play a game after she's done eating. Excited about this improvised but fun meal, Wanda left her home.

On her way to the large tree, Wanda felt uneasy. It was like someone was following her, but as soon as she looked back no one was in sight. She started walking faster, shiver running down her spine.

Finally, she arrived and quickly threw a blanket on the warm grass, deciding to lay in the sun for a minute. As her eyes were closed, she sensed something or someone sitting on the plaid next to her. A djiminni was staring at her. Surprised, the pink and purple veela jumped on her feet. She had never seen a djiminni from up close. The creature was sniffing the basket, kicking it with its paws. Understanding it wanted to eat something, Wanda gave it a slice of bread. The djiminni ate it slowly. Once it was done, the creature looked back into the basket. The pack of card seemed to intrigued them. After pointing at it, Wanda took the pack of cards and started disposing the cards on the ground.

- How about we play some game of battle uh? You start and I'll do the next one. I'm really fast to complete those, I'm sure you can't beat me!

The djiminni laughed and started playing, enjoying the warmth of the sun on its back, sitting next to Wanda.
