How to cure a grumpy gem finder
Fairyfloss is trying to cheer her girlfriend up.
"What are you doing?" Fairyfloss asked as she watched her June-Bug pace back and forth. A lopsided smile on her own face, while June had a scowl, her pickaxe slung over her left shoulder.
"Being upset about all the damn diamonds I keep finding." June replied, she disliked diamonds, always in the way of her actual work. Fairyfloss chuckled. "What it isn't funny you know."
She surpassed her giggles and pulled her into a warm fluffy hug. "I'm sorry June-Bug. It wasn't nice of me to laugh. What do you do with all of the diamonds you find?"
"I take them with me anyway. Because I can make money by selling them, but they are an extreme pain." She said, trying to hide her smile from her taller girlfriend, her face in her fur. Her face was turning a dark shade of red, attempting to mask it as anger towards the blasted jewels but rather it was a blush.
"Ah well come on lets go on a hike, that should cheer you up, the flower fields are in bloom ya' know." She said with a wide grin on her face. June nodded, the two packed up. Fairyfloss packed a picnic lunch, all of Junes favorites; carb loaded food, some meats for herself. Of course to ensure that June would be happy for the day she decided to leave out her sushi. The two headed out to explore the open forest land and fields.
"Now isn't this better?" She asked, holding her girlfriends hand.
"Yeah, the outside air helps a lot." She replied with a grin as they continued to walk, as they continued to walk they came upon a perfect clearing filled with flowers. A few things of catnip lined the passage way. Fairyfloss grinned waiting for the opportunity to take some of it for herself. June smirked as they sat together and began to eat their food. "Fairyfloss you didn't have to do this for me."
"I love you, I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to." She replied with a grin on her face. "All I ever want to do is make you happy."
She blushed, her face growing a deep crimson. "Fairyfloss, you..you are so sweet." Fairyfloss smiled and pulled her close to her cuddling her close to her, she wanted to ensure she was warm, and happy.
"I always will be here for you, to do things you didn't ask because thats what love is." She said kissing her sweetly.
