GIMMIE A YEN

Athena was hoping from tree to tree, giggling to herself as leaves fell down onto the ground. She kept moving, only stopping for a small break. She hung from a tree branch by her feet, her hood laying loose as she hung upside down. "Hello!" She heard a voice, making her fall down from the branch and hit her head. She grumbles, rubbing her head looking up at the creature in front of her. A male Lucky-cat themed Impim was sitting in front of her. She blinks, quickly jumping up to greet the Impim. "Oh, hey! I'm Athena~!" She sang happily, outstretching a fluffy hand. The other Impim took her hand, shaking it up and down, "Hi Athena, I'm Yen!!" He chirped, his small tail wagging slowly. Athena's whiskers twitch, and she pulls back her hood, tilting her head. "What are you doing in this neck of the woods?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Oh, well I decided to take a stroll and you just so happened to be here!" Yen smiled, his ears twitching. Athena thought for a second, seeming to space out. She shakes her head, looking back up at Yen. "Well, it's nice to meet you anyways, Yen!" She smiled widely, Yen returning the smile. She heard a slight grumble and growl, her whiskers twitching. She was hungry. Really hungry. "Mm...god I'm hungry." She complained, her arms drooping. Yen tapped his foot, clicking his tongue. "Lets go get some food then!"

"Ah, really? You're probably busy." Athena said with a laugh. Yen shook his head, taking her hand. "Nope, I'm not! Lets go get your favorite food!" He said in a determined tone, looking down at Athena. "I could go for some Dilochos right now, you know where some of the plants are?" Athena asked. "Yeah! Lets go get some!" He dragged the smaller Impim away to a large field. Gigantic tree-like plants stood in front of them, having large purple spoon-shaped leaves, and an array of dull colored flowers. Yen smiled at the large star-shaped fruits that hung from the flowers, and Athena was sitting there and scaling the plant.

"I'll go up there and get it for you!" Yen declared, grabbing the trunk, but he winced and pulled back. Athena looked startled, looking at Yen's palm. A bunch of tiny thorns were there, "Oh jeez! Are you okay Yen?" She asked in a panicked tone, grabbing his wrist. "Mm, yeah..." He said with a frown, arching his shoulders. "I-I forgot they have thorns..." She said with dread, rubbing her head. "I can get those out."

"N-No, I can manage. Lets get the fruit first." He said with a breathless sigh. "You sure?" Athena asked, concerned, Yen giving her a smile and nod. "Of course, lets go."

Athena thought for a second, "Okay, let me go on your shoulders, and I can grab it." Yen stared at her, "Aren't you...too short?" He said, trying not to be rude. "Yes, but I have a secret." She laughed. Yen shrugged, picking Athena up and placing her on his shoulders. Athena placed her hands on the sides of her head, cracked it to the side, and popped it right off. Yen felt a bit weak hearing the noises but managed to stand straight. Athena used her mouth to grab the stems of the fruits, picking them off of the tree. She cracks her head onto her body again, handing Yen one of the fruits.

"For me?" He asked, Athena nodding with a smile. Yen took the fruit in his not thorned hand, humming a thank you. "Lets go to my place. I can get those thorns out in a second!" Yen smiled, accepting the offer. They skip away, Athena leading him to her house.
