Crying silently,

In a what seemed,

Like a suffocating plain,

Cheers echoed around,

Her vision,

Hazy,

Her head,

Spiralling,

Her lungs,

throbbing in pain,

She lost everything,

And for what?

A brother's praise?

A nation's vengeance?

She missed the simpler times,

Running around,

Laughing and playing with her siblings,

But those times are gone,

They seemed to be forgotten,

By everyone around her,

She wished she could go back to those times,

She wished she could erase what she's done,

She wished she could take it all back,

But she could only wish
