Precious Seeds
**The Deity of your choice has gifted you magician seeds, but their powers must be invoked before sowing. Some leave them in the moonlight overnight or soak them in magician concoctions. What does your character do?**
Nori awoke to a small packet being left on her windowsill, as she opened it the scent of lavender and roses wafted in the air. It was a leaf packet, even tied together with a small sprig of grass, it had to be from Varynn, she followed him very closely. After gathering them up, she walked into a side room, clutching the seed package close to her chest in order to warm them from her own body. This was a trick that her father had taught her, it put love into the seeds, which would cause them to grow healthier and also flourish more than a normal plant. Whether or not this was true, she didn’t know, but it hadn’t ever seemed to fail her father.
There was a small ceremonial pot that she had passed down generation after generation in her family. It had a history of being gifted to someone in her family from Varynn himself. She wanted to let the seeds start their growth there. Hoping that he would smile down upon the seeds and help them grow strong.
Outside she marched, gathering up the best soil she had to plant them. She dug a small hole, putting the seeds inside the soil, slowly covering them and giving the soil a small pat. She also took a small skewer from the kitchen and placed it into the soil. It was for measuring the growth, as well as so if the plant had vines it could coil and grow upwards without breaking. The leaf that the seeds had been gifted in was left lying against the lip of the pot, to remind her who had gifted such a precious plant once it had grown.
