Basil and Raen

“Yeah what are you going to do if I just disappear?”asked Basil tauntingly leaning on the table. 

“Well I don’t think you want any harm to come to that little police officer you’re so fond of,” said Raen leaning across closer to whisper to Basil with a devious smile. 

Basil’s eyes widened obviously in shock and horror. 

“Oh, Basil, Basil,” said Raen. “You really think I wouldn’t know? You know better than to keep secrets.”

“Don’t you dare touch him,” growled Basil. 

“I have no intentions of doing so. In fact I don’t want to. So I suggest you be on good behavior,” explained Raen. 

“I’m not a dog,” snapped Basil. 

“You could be a good one,” 

Basil’s face keep straight. “Woof,” he said laced with sarcasm. 

Raen just smirked despite Basil’s response not being genuine. “Now we are getting somewhere.”
