A moment of respite in a childhood bedroom, lying side by side on a too small bed, staring up at the ceiling painted with flaking constellations.

Puck raises an arm, pointing out the stars that make various images that only they can parse out from years of writing their stories, explaining them all to their silent companion, hoping to ease her mind in this new world she's found herself in, a gentler world, if Puck has any say in it.

A moment of respite, lying side by side on the dewy grass, staring at the night sky with its bright stars shining down on them.

Puck raises a shaking arm, trying to point out the constellations with a confidence that they no longer feel.

It's in a gentle murmur that Cereza fills in for them, giving back the words they told her what feels like a lifetime ago now, her hand careful on their elbow to keep them stable as they attempt to keep together what little they can in a world that's changed too much for them.

Leon smiles gently, watching the two, and keeps to himself the fact that Orion's Belt is not, in fact, called pants man.
