1st day of my arrival

Dear Diary,

I think I was sleeping for a long time, my body feels stiff and my mind dull.

To think that one can sleep for such a long time, without food and water, amazes me to no end.

Then again, something drastic must have happened to me, as my physical appearance is quite the change:

My fur is shining in a bright blue tone, and my chest and stomach look like they have been stained with ink. A bright sparkle of knowledge fills my eyes and my head is adorned by a beautiful crown with a mysteriously gleaming deep blue jewel.

One could say my appearance is quite beautiful, truly, I am not used to the sight the mirror here showed me.

I was fortunate enough to wake up close to a library, my nose could sense the smell of ink, wood and knowledge before my eyes had any chance ob spotting them.

It seems abandoned, it is dusty and spiders have made it their home.

Once I have collected my thoughts on your empty pages, I will try to make this library my own. Who knows, I might mind others that have been transported into this strange world, just like me, and show them the wonders and serenity of these books.

Of course, it has to be thoroughly dusted and cleaned, and the books need to be categorized properly. I wouldn’t want people to get lost before finding a book that is calling them.

I heard some ravens nearby. In my old live, I used to be friends with some, they always had fascinating stories to tell, and my bed was filled with their soft feathers. I am hoping to befriend some here again, they were the only companions besides books I had in my old live and I want them to be a part of this one too.

Thank you for listening to my thoughts my dear friend.

Sincerely,

Rowena
