The days are drawing closer, along with the weather getting warmer. The twins were sitting at the dining table while their mom made lunch. Cider was drawing with crayons while Cinder was reading a book. The two looked at their mom when she hit them with the big important question.

"So, what do you guys want for your birthday cake?" Victoria asked, she knew this needed to be discussed days before due to their opposing wants. All she wanted was to find something that the two could share. The twins looked at each other, as Cider opened their mouth.

"Well, I want a mint chocolate ice cream cake!" Cider said as Cinder looked at them puzzled. They'd normally go for chocolate ice cream cake over mint chocolate. Still, Cinder wanted something different.

"I want a tomato cake!" Cinder said that, as Cider's face retorted. What a weird flavor to want for a cake. This led to the two getting into an argument that their own mother had expected. Victoria just sighed and mumbled about how the two are still so young despite turning seventeen soon. She can't believe how much she had missed her kids growing up, the improvement that the two had gone through to get to this point. What a sappy thing for a mother to think about. Nevertheless, the twins quieted down when she put down their sandwiches. She came and sat down with hers afterward.

"Well, how about this. We order a fudgy chocolate brownie cake. I know how much you two really like fudgy brownies." Victoria had suggested, hoping that the twins would agree to that. Cider and Cinder looked at each other, and it was like they were communicating telepathically. The two, after seeming like a bit of thought, looked at their mom and nodded excitedly.

"Good, I'll order the cake then." Victoria went to go order the cake while the twins finally got to eating their sandwiches and peacefully talking about the day.
