“Keenan,” asked Albion, “am I a bad person?”

“No of course you’re not,” replied Keenan immediately.

“I’m not a good person,” stated Albion firmly looking unphased.

“But you’ve done so much! Of course you’re a good person. You’ve created all of this!” Keenan gestured to the valley below. “You helped so many people!”

Albion paused his eyes shifted from over the railing. “The things I’ve done don’t make me a good person. I created this place for me to run away to. I created this to destroy a kingdom I was betrayed by. The things I’ve done make me a selfish person”

“No no you’re not” insisted Keenan growing upset with this conversation made clear by his clenched fists and gritted teeth.

Albion held up a hand before Keenan could say more. “Stop. Let me finish. I’m not a good person, and the thing is, I don’t mind. I dont necessarily regret what I’ve done.” Albion shrugged slightly. “I would do them all again. Maybe I’m alright with being the bad guy.”

“You’re not the bad guy,” said Keenan firmly but softer as he looked down at his hands now. “You’ve helped so many people here and in Treore! You overthrew a tyrant!” He seemed to be searching for more but repeating himself.

“He wasn’t a tyrant to everyone,” said Albion interrupting again. “He did good things for the kingdom.”

“We all know how it would’ve ended!” Keenan continued in a growl firmly insisting upon it it. “Would’ve ended badly. It would’ve ended in failure he would’ve destroyed everything and everyone!”

There was a pause from both parties. “You didn’t always believe that,” pointed out Albion only halfway meaning to strike a nerve.

Keenan didn’t have a reply for that and remained silent. A nerve had definitely been hit there.
