"The first step to flying is to get over the fear of heights," said Kit grabbing something and heading back over by me.

"But I'm not scared of heights," I stated.

"Everyone is a little scared once they get up that high," said Kit with a grin handing me a thin strip of cloth. "Tie it around your eyes."

I followed his instructions and tied it tightly around my eyes. I felt his hand take mine and start to pull me. I followed his lead.

I felt him let go and place my hand on what I assumed was the ladder upwards.

"Start climbing," said Kit. "I'm right behind you."

I was about to protest as I was unable to see but kept my mouth closed and began a slow ascent upwards. It felt like an eternity until finally I couldn't feel a rung above me.

"You're at the top. Now step onto the platform," Kit called from below me on the ladder.

I stepped up cautiously and stood close to the ladder not sure how much room I had. I heard Kit come up behind me moving me a bit further onto the platform.

"You can take a step forward," said Kit. "There's plenty of room."

I took a small step forward and faced outward.

"Alright. Now take off the blindfold. And take a look around."

Blair slowly slid it up over her head. Her gaze instantly drifted downwards. She saw her toes where directly at the edge of the platform that seemed impossibly high off the ground from there. Startled she moved to make a step back away from the edge when she felt Kit's hands on her back and suddenly was plummeting downwards. The ground rushed up to meet her and a scream left her mouth before landing face first into a net.

I lay there for a few moments in just shock. Slowly I rolled over eyes still wide to stare upward hardly noticing the slight sting of my skin from the net.

Kit peered down at me from far above. "See you're fine!"

"I'm fine," I whispered slowly. "I'm fine!" I laughed slightly still laying on my back staring upwards. I survived.

"Now get back up here!" Kit yelled down.

I nodded and rolled to the edge of the net and got my feet back on the ground and made my way back to the ladder this time with my sight.

I climbed back up to meet Kit who was sitting on the edge. "I'm impressed," he said. "You're the first."

"The first?" I questioned tilting my head. "What do you mean?"

"You're the first to climb back up," said Kit with a smile.

I blinked then my mouth opened in a gasp. "You mean you purposely always push everyone off?"

Kit nodded. "Yep. You have to get over your fear of falling. If you can't you have no place being up here."
