Chapter 1

A siren blairs in the distance.

Castiel lifts his head from his paws, confused and vaugly annoyed at the sudden disruption to his rest. He looks around, volunteers and mon run around frantically, some more panicked than others, but all obviously in a hurried rush to get somewhere or do something. The 'mon stands up and stretches before padding to the door way of his shared room to closer study what was going on. No one seemed to pay him any mind as they scurried, too focused on their current objectives. An annoyed sigh left Castiels nose as he got increasingly annoyed with everyone disrupting his rest, while also entirely ignoring his awakening.

A familiar form scurries by, Castiel calls to it. "Pixie." The form stopped, turning towards the togekiss glaceon to approach. "This isn't really the time. What do you need?" the glaceon pushed, trying to hurry the conversation so she could get back to what she was doing. "What's with all this noise? And why in Arceus' name is everyone running around?" He asked, understanding that Pixie didn't want to talk with him, but still wanting an answer and knowing his sibling couldn't ignore someone calling for them. Pixie gave a confused look "Wha-" she then perked up abit as she realized "Oh right, this hasn't happened since you got here. A worm-hole appeared, everyone is trying to figure out the specifics and help get things under control, to make sure whatever emerges doesn't cause any havoc." Before finishing the sentence, the glaceon began to turn to take her focus back to her original objective. "You can go back and sleep if you'd want, or try to figure out how you can help, either way I need to go." she was already bounding down the hall, not wanting to delay a second longer, let alone spend more time talking to Castiel.

"It's not like I can sleep with all this racket.." he mummbled to himself, rolling his eyes. He looked around to see if there was someone he could follow, to atleast see what's going on for himself, curious on what could arise out of the worm-hole. A group of volunteers rushed by, they were talking to eachother and while Castiel didn't catch much of the exchange he did hear them say where the portal was forming. Quickly he traveled to the location.

Castiel hadn't seen a worm-hole before, only hearing the other residence of Aether talk amongst themselves about past ones and what they entailed. So when he suddenly saw this large, bright cone, seeming to be overflowing with power with sparks of energy flashing sporatically he was taken a-back. He couldn't help but stare at the odd occurance, it was so pretty yet so terrifying. Suddenly a bright flash blinded him, his focus on the portals beauty kept him from noticing the signs that something was about to happen. As he got his senses back from the overwhelming light, he noticed a small, pink form infront of him, causing him to stumble back from shock.

He stared in awe, not knowing how to react, his thoughts were scattered throughout his brain and wouldn't let him form a complete idea of any kind. Almost as if his mind was just..blank, but it wasn't at the same time. He couldn't believe that a mew was staring him right in the face..and the idea that it's from a completely different world..and it greatly interested him.
