She was born into dog fighting. Being taught to be aggressive towards her kind and untrusting. Her father was well known for his strength in the pits where they would fight dogs. She watched what happened to those who were not as strong or cold hearted as her father. However, she couldn't stay in this world forever.

A hurricane hit and wrecked the facility she was kept in. As she looked around everything she had known was destroyed and she was afraid. Having no choice but to adapt to her new environment she takes up the streets of Nassau, Bahamas to be her new home. However, it isn't long before Vii realizes that the streets are very similar to the dog pits she was raised in. She had to fight to survive. But this time, she had to fight for food, and shelter, and water.

Vii would loosely join packs here and there but it's quite literally a dog-eat-dog world and a weak dog is not safe even in its own pack. Despite all of this, Vii did find warmth in being amongst her kind. especially when they weren't hurting her.

Eventually, she meets a dog named Bomicus (Bomi for short) and his good nature and cheeriness is such a change from everything else around her. They quickly become friends and stick together often. Though she trusted him she still often went out on her own. It's what she was most familiar with. Eventually Bomi gets adopted by a local family. His family seems so loving, and he seems really happy. Vii had only known humans for causing conflict forcing her to fight for their pleasure. She didn't trust them but looking at his life with them made her curious. So, one day when she was approached by a little girl she didn't snap or growl at her but sniffed her instead. The little girl took her home and Vii became a pet.

Vii was given food, and water, and shelter. But she was never comfortable. Humans where so foreign to her. They were something she didn't understand and had very few good experiences with. So, she ran away and choose to live back on the streets.

"I might be hungry but at least I'm free and at least I'm safe". She was free but she never really knew whether she was safe or not.
