A glimpse at an important moment in Dr Screks and Katsus's past, it's been over 200 years since this

Might write their full backstory on the future and if I do so I'll probably delete this since it's gonna be part of that

"I'm sorry..." - the magician utters, his body trembling slightly, looking away from the angry scientist standing before him while clenching his arm, his hair wrapped around his leg and a feeling of discomfort, maybe due to Katsu finally starting to realize that he had made a mistake, and a big one at that.

"Is that all you have to say?" "I'm sorry?" You disappeared for over 100 years without even saying a word. Do you know what happens when people go missing for that fucking long without any fucking trace of them, even after searching endlessly for decades? They are presumed dead." - the doctor claims, his voice filled with rage and frustration, gesturing extravagantly at every word with violence as he gets closer to the magician that doesn't dare to move.

"I-I'm sorry ok... I-I thought I was doing the right thing, I-I wanted to protect you, b-but I was wrong it was a mistake I-"

"I made you a fucking tombstone." - Screks announces, his voice cracking in sorrow, looking Katsu in the eye as gets started by what he just heard, his eyes widening while still looking away from the scientist. - "I mourned for you. For years."

Screks words pierce through Katsu like spears, the consequences of his actions and regret filling his mind, the only thing he is able to do is to try to bottle some courage and slowly look at Screks's direction go even wider than before when they lay upon him, seeing this person that had never shown a moment of weakness, even after becoming disabled upon losing a big part of his body on an accident, began to crack right there in front of him, and this was Katsu's fault, and there nothing he can do about it now, the time is already lost, there no going back now.

"You weren't the fucking only one who lost something that day." - Katsu freezes with Screks's words, the memory of his ex-girlfriend dying in his arms after being killed by his own hands piercing through his mind. - "She was precious to me too, you know?" - Screks continues, the voice cracks getting more noticeable as his true emotions of the time he was abandoned by the only people he considered his friends, even after everything he did start sweeping through his anger.

"C-Cael I-"

"Don't you fucking call me that, you have no right to use that name. It's Screks, Doctor Screks from now on. Cael is dead, he died when he had to crave in stone the name of the only person he had fucking left in this entire fucking universe. I lost everything. I had nothing nor anyone. You and her were the only ones I had and after we lost her was the one who got you back when you were about to go unstable, I was the one who was there for you throughout your grieve and got you back on your feet, was the one that made things move forward, and you just decided one day to disappear out of nowhere, without saying a fucking word, without leaving any fucking signs FOR A CENTURY." - Screks interrupts, without even hesitating, continuing to dump how he felt through all this time he had been searching for his friend non-stop, even when everyone else told him to give up and he insisted and insisted until a century had passed and he finally gave up, not only his hope but his old self with it, just to have that person come back pretending that everything was fine.

Katsus stumbles back, nothing knowing what to do or how to react, but as he loses balance and is about to fall he is grabbed by the collar by his friend's cyborg hand that pulls him close in a quick movement with immense strength and no effort at all, making him face Screks in the eye.

"YOU WERE EVERYTHING I HAD!" - the doctor shouts in a shaky voice, his eyes watering with pain and anger drowning the red of his organic eye that begins flowing nonstop.

Katsus's body paralyses along with his thoughts, as he realizes how big of a mistake he had made as Screks completely breaks in front of him, this being the first time he had seen his friend cry.

"...how could you abandon me like that..." - Screks mutters as his anger starts shifting into deep unresolved sadness and confusion as his body starts weakening in sorrow and his grip lighters, tears and pain flowing endlessly through the right side of his face.
