In which you can find FAQ for the tekishozen species.
🏮 MYO/Masterlist/Trait/Adopt FAQ 🏮
Q: Do MYO slots expire?
A: No, MYO slots never expire, as long as you still have them in your bank account - they are only deleted once used!
Q: Can I resell/trade/gift MYO slots?
A: You can resell, trade, and gift purchased MYO slots. Free (raffle, gift, event) MYO slots can not be sold or traded, but can be gifted.
Q: How do I get a Special trait potion, or an unlimited MYO slot?
A: Unlike all our other MYO slots/traits, unlimited/special items are not always available. They will pop up every so often in various types of black market sale, or occasionally as special event rewards or items.
Q: Can I redesign my character?
A: Right now, there are two methods of redesign/edit. The first is Minor Edit, which you do not need a potion for. Minor Edits are things such as hairstyle/length change, skin color change, new "main" outfit, eye color change, and other small changes/edits. The second is Full Redesign, which you need a Redesign Potion for! Traits may not be changed without a Redesign Potion.
Q: Can I send in a new reference for the masterlist?
A: Yes, any time! You may put it in myo-approval in our discord with the note that it is a new masterlist reference, and linking the entry it is replacing.
Q: Can I send in an NSFW reference for myo-approval ?
A: Please keep ALL references in the discord SFW! Underwear and "barbie doll" nudity are considered SFW, as long as no genitalia are shown.
🏮 Kitzen FAQ 🏮
Q: Can Kitzens have mixed traits, such as long fur on the shoulders and short fur on the ankles, or 2 thin tails and 1 flowy tail?
A: This would count as a mutation trait, since it has the possibility of mixing rarities.
Q: But what if I do something in the same tier, such as 1 puff tail and 1 normal tail?
A: For the sake of fairness, all trait mixing is considered special/mutation.
Q: Can wing ears be bat wings?
A: Wing ears are not actually wings but are mock-feathers, so they cannot be bat wing shaped. However, this could be a mutation!
Q: Can a Kitzen have fur in some spots, but not others, such as having fur on the hips and ankles, but not shoulders and wrists?
A: Yes!
Q: Do markings always follow their elements?
A: They typically follow the trends of their element (Fire having red, orange, etc, Water being blue, white, etc) but they CAN be any color! The only elements that are restricted are Shadow and Light, which must be darker or lighter colors respectively. The color of the markings matches the color of their magic, so if a Fire elemental had blue markings, they would produce blue fire!
Q: Can my Kitzen's tails be different lengths, of the same type?
A: Yes! You can choose if you would like to depict your Kitzen's tails growing in over time, or if you just wish to add one on when you reach the right amount of EXP.
Q: If a Kitzen's tail gets injured/removed, would their power go away?
A: No, the tails are an indicator of power, not the cause of it!
Q: Can I change my Kitzen's element?
A: Element Change items are available through the crafting system! Check out more about that here! They will also occasionally be available via flash sale.
Q: Can I use multiple potions on one slot/kitzen?
A: Yes!
Q: Are horns limited to size?
A: Not explicitly, but we ask that you use the rule-of-reasonable - overly large horns would not be accepted without a rare trait.
Q: How long do Kitzen live?
A: Kitzen typically live up to 200 years, though Kitzens that are powerful in their abilities can live up to 300.
🏮 Bakenomu and Chikainu FAQ 🏮
Q: Can my Bakenomu/Chikainu have elemental markings?
A: No, that is unique to the Kitzen.
Q: Can my Bakenomu/Chikainu be based off of any type of cat/dog?
A: Yes, they can, as long as it is a cat/dog that exists in real life.
Q: Can Bakenomu have fur or paw pads on their hands?
A: In order to avoid too much similarity with Chikainu, Bakenomu cannot have fur on their hands. They can, however, have paw pads!
Q: Do Bakenomu gems have to be a specific shape?
A: No! They can be anything.
Q: How long do Bakenomu live?
A: Bakenomu can live up to 200 years on average.
Q: Can my Chikainu be skinny/small, or my Bakenomu be beefy/large?
A: Absolutely, they can be any body shape. Chikainu tend towards larger or more muscular body shapes due to building muscle mass faster, and Bakenomu tend towards more lithe body shapes due to being more agile - but this is NOT a requirement.
Q: How long do Chikainu live?
A: Chikainu can live up to 400 years on average.

Q: Are prosthetics allowed?
A: Prosthetics are allowed as long as they are visibly functional, and distinctly a prosthetic! (Ex. Wooden leg w/ ball joints: Allowed. Smooth filled glass leg: Disallowed (excepted in the case of a mutation trait).)
Q: Are twins/triplets allowed?
A: Yes, as long as they are not carbon copies of each other! They will require multiple MYO slots.
Q: Can my Kitzen/Bakenomu/Chikainu have a feral or anthro form?
A: Yes, but they would not be considered 'canon' to the world of Tekishozen in most cases. Exceptions would be having a shape-shifter mutation trait, or being an Illusion elemental that can make themselves appear differently.
Q: Can I make an existing OC into a Kitzen/Bakenomu/Chikainu?
A: Yes, with a MYO slot and permission from the original designer!
Q: Can I make a Kitzen/Bakenomu/Chikainu AU version of an existing OC?
A: Yes!
Q: Can we make Tekishozen characters inspired by canon characters from existing media?
A: Yes, you may. However, please do state if the character you've made is based on a canon character in the approval, and what character it is, so we can double check that it isn't a carbon copy. The key word is inspired by! Characters that are carbon copies of their inspiration will be asked to make edits.

Q: Can I post seeking ads in tekishozen-marketplace?
A: Absolutely!
Q: Can mini-prompts/quests/festivals/mastery responses be writing?
A: Definitely. All prompts can be filled with writing.
Q: Can they be other media, such as an original song, a sculpture, or a plush?
A: ABSOLUTELY. These types of media can also be turned in for Koin, which will be awarded on a case-by-case basis due to being special items.
Q: Can I buy an adopt with Koin?
A: Accepting Koin for adoptables is up to the artist, but generally the answer will be no. If any adopts are currently available with Koin, they will be posted in shop-shelves !
Q: Can I crossbreed a Tekishozen species with another Closed Species/my own personal species/each other?
A: At the time, crossbreeds are not available in any capacity, outside of very select mod adopts.
Q: What do pets/trinkets do?
A: Pets/Trinkets give bonus items or opportunities for different rolls as quest rewards! You can see which each individual pet/trinket does in shop-purchases.
Q: Do regular cats/dogs/foxes exist in this world?
A: Yes. Is that weird?
Q: Is violent/gore art allowed?
A: Yes, just ensure you are tagging them correctly for whatever platform you are posting on.
Q: Can my characters go off-world?
A: At the moment, there is no possibility for space travel.
