Cheesy

Oscar saw Johnny relaxing upright in bed and leaped up, quickly settling himself against Johnny’s warm chest. Johnny let out a surprised yet happy chuckle. “Hey, honeybun! What’s got you so cuddly?” He was quick to wrap his arms around Oscar, holding them close.

“I just remembered how awesome you are.” They closed their eyes in contentment, then opened them back up. “Sorry, that was cheesy as hell.”

“No, no, you’re all good, sweetheart. Not cheesy at all. You know I appreciate it.” He leaned down and kissed Oscar’s head right between the rabbit ears. “You really are my biggest fan.”

Oscar giggled at the kiss and closed their eyes once more. “Don’t act like you’re not my biggest fan too, Cagester.” They let out a happy sigh. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
