Lilly felt terrible, not at the situation, maybe she did. She really didn't know at the moment as her mom pulled her suitcase and bags from the car, having insisted on doing it herself as she sighed. She didn't really know if she wanted to be here or not. Sure she heard decent things about summer camp and how it was a good way to make new friends on the wilderness. But having a massive amount of anxiety didn't help her nerves with the situation and she was trying not to shake like a fragile leaf. she was going to be alone with unfamiliar people who might judge her for an entire month and she didn't know if she could handle it. Gulping she pulled the hoodie sewn in underlayer of her jean jacket's hood over her head desperately wanting to hide from the entire world, or just lock herself in the car with her things to force her mother to take her back home so she could sob into her bed for the next 3 hours, one of the two. Though her mother simply smiled gently and patted her on the back, speaking gently as well to try and distract her. "I thought you liked the wilderness. Its quiet and filled with life like you said you loved." Lilly just scowled lightly looking to her before responding as politely as possible still just trying not to tremble and give away her immense fear of being hated "yeah, when I'm on a hike alone with my mom and dad, whom I know very well and feel as though the only people who I can actually function with without being judged" her mom sighed softly rubbing her back as she spoke "I know it's hard to talk with people your age due to our...background. but it could be fun! Besides you need to get out in the sun more anyway. You dont want to burn up like a vampire by merely touching the sun do you?" Lilly sighed pulling the strings of the jacket making the hood scrunch over her face not caring how it messed up her long hair "im already a sheet of paper mom. If I drank blood or tomato juice I could be mistaken for a vampire anyways..." her mom sighed softly before pulling the hood back cupping her face with both hands. "dont worry. I'm sure you'll be fine and the people here will take great care of you. Plus, if theres any real problems I'm sure they will let you call us." Lilly relaxed only a little at that but tried to believe her the best she could. "now, You go ahead and head inside with your things. I'll be right in after you" she handed Lilly her bags as she took the weight easily. Lilly just nodding a little in compliance though still very much not wanting to walk into the main cabin where they where supposed to meet, her head treating it like some sort of gates of hell engulfed in pure atonement fire with the name "camp milwaukie" etched on the top. Though she sighed slinging her bags better over one shoulder and grabbing her suitcases handle and dragging it along as she walked in. The sight before her wasn't entirely unexpected, other late teens with their bags and in mild groups having conversations, some just meeting and some having been friends for years it seemed like and luckily her prayers for no one to notice her existence where answered....for the moment, at least. A few catcalls from across the large lobby from a group of boys at another group of girls who seemed to have deep pockets. The two started bickering at eachother and Lilly just tried her best to dodge the line of word fire making her way to the luggage drop off where a few camp attendants where sorting through the bags to go to the correct cabin. Though amid her rush knocking into the person second to next in line, getting a face full of a dark blue hoodie and distinct whiff of artificial rose as they let out a gruff 'oof', turning to seemingly mildly tell off whoever it was before looking to her and blinking, he was quite handsome even with his hood over his head of slightly messy longer dark hair, his skin was dark as well almost like milk chocolate, his eyes where a nice dark blue and he also had circleish glasses on. Lilly looked up at him and let out an awkward squeak like noise that could only be described as a 'meep' of some sorts. She stood there staring at him for a moment before her head kicked her back into thinking, starting to apologize a lot and speak quickly and slightly put her hands up in defense waving them a little as he blinked again a bit more in suprise this time though. "ImsorryididntmeantorunintoyoupleasedonthurtmE-" she then gulped and paused when he grabbed both of her hands gently speaking casually "woah woah woah. Easy now...heh..its alright..shit happens..dont worry about it" she gulps and nods slightly in understanding pulling her hands away tucking them under her arms as he spoke again raising an eyebrow "are you alright though? You...where trembling a bit" she seemed to pause before gulping looking up at him shrinking a bit and shrugging as her brain screamed internally "i-im fine...fine...completely and very fine...j-just...have the jitters...heh" he raised his eyebrow a bit more "I dont think this is just jitters, you look....terrified" Lilly just paled at how easily he saw through her, now internally wondering and screaming if she really was this easy to read on the outside or wondering of this handsome bastard was just smart. "I-i...um..w-well.." the now known as 'handsome bastard' gave a single backpack to the people working the desk who seemed to just automatically put it with some other bags, talking with the person for a quick moment before he turned back to her. Just gently taking her bags for her as she snapped out of her thoughts of how to word things and just getting a confused look at how easily he was carrying three bags with one arm before realizing those where her bags. "w-wait what are you doing??" He set them down the people taking them casually before turning to her "we may have known eachother for...a mere minute. But, personally with your anxiety? I think it's best you stay out of the girls main cabin...I've heard rumors things can get a bit...heated. if you dont mind, uh. I have a private cabin with some of my siblings and close friends for the month. It's much calmer than the others. But...only if you want to anyways.." he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as she blinked before gulping and speaking quietly "i-i...that...would be great. Actually....if..y-you dont mind" he blinked at that before smiling and wrapping an arm around her waist casually guiding her away from the desk so others could get their bags checked in, the gesture making her blush a lot though as he spoke again "oh, uh, my name is four by the way....what's yours? She blinked and looked up at him kinda internally thinking hard about why his name could possibly be 'four' before blushing lightly again, deciding to let the thought slide just smiling gently, feeling only slightly calmer now "L-Lilly...you..can just c-call me Lilly" he hummed and nodded a bit "nice to meet you" she nodded a little, glancing back to see her mom having just finished the paperwork at a second desk. Grinning and smiling brightly giving her a thumbs up as she then looked back with a quiet giggle "i-its nice to meet you too" four smiled back a bit more. Lilly feeling a lot calmer as she smiled back, maybe this month away from home wouldnt be too bad after all.
