"They got my good side, at least."

"Emilice, that's a depiction of your whole face."

  "I know. I just don't have a bad side."

The Science Deity snorted a laugh, looking away from her own mosaic to  look at the Love Goddex. The strange library had suddenly appeared within Marmorarius' caverns; the two deities were investigating the odd addition to the Kingdoms. Emilice tilted their head towards the stained-glass, pink light igniting brown eyes to glow amber. They hummed quietly.

"I don't remember posing for a window..." said Emilice, raising a delicate eyebrow. Both deities could sense this library was not of this world, or indeed of any world, yet the people who built it seem to know them. Odd. The Goddex took a step away, skirts swishing as they moved and leaving the scent of roses. Their eyes fell on the offerings of candles, sweets, and pressed flowers on their alter. Every window had one; people were praying to them here.

"Neither do I," Jessimae confessed, "I also cannot explain a building appearing out of nowhere." The Science God could usually explain anything.

"Then we should keep an eye on this place," Emilice suggested and Jessimae nodded, "but until then..."

The scent of roses grew and the room was filled with sunlight;  something that was impossible considering the library was in a Marmorian cave. The altar glittered happily under the gaze of its patron. Anyone  who prayed here would receive the blessing of the Love Deity, a temporary luckiness reserved for the faithful. Emilice had been unintentionally neglecting them after all.

Jessimae grinned at her companion. Emilice smiled back and shrugged at her.

  "What? It's a nice window."
