An Average Day with Niles and Oscar

“Ah! Interesting.” Niles wrote down the results of his latest scientific test into his notebook. Niles’ latest test subject, his boyfriend, was currently in the form of a curious squirrel monkey. They sat on Niles’ scientific table before him. They craned their head forwards in an attempt to peer at Niles’ notes. “Ah ah ah. I can’t have you looking at these notes, my kiss.” Niles noticed their head droop in response to his words. “Nothing personal, I just can’t have anything affect these test results. They’re too important.” He reached forwards and engulfed the top of their head with his hand. He gave them a soft stroke on the head with his thumb, petting their favorite spot between their ears. “Nothing personal at all. I love you, dear.”
