Awake Through The Storm
It was a dark and stormy night in the capital of Coldour, thunder echoing across the city in a commanding manner. It was hard for two of the members of Team Anarchy Splatcast, Shiverr the Chikorita and Tokyo the Deino, to get themselves to sleep through the night. But, who could blame the two dinosaur-like Pokemon? After all, the rain and the thunder made it hard enough to even hear their thoughts over the din.
"It's so hard to try and get to sleep through this.." Shiverr groaned in annoyance, trying to put a pillow over their head in an effort to try and drown out at least some of the noise. "I won't be able to get my mind straight for missions tomorrow.."
"Right?!" Tokyo said with just as much annoyance in her voice as her partner's. "I'm sooo goin' to be more moody than usual, it's gonna suck! And how will we explain that to the guildmaster? That is, if we hafta, y'know?"
"Exactly!" Shiverr sighed as she brought her face out from under the pillow. The Chikorita had a slight pout on her face, her ruby colored eyes showing disdain for the current situation, despite how small it might have seemed to other Pokemon. "But hey, at least we can try to do something to keep us occupied. Anything to distract us from the noise.."
“Well? What were you thinking on doing, Shiv?” Tokyo said as she tilted her head out of curiosity.
“Hmmm, well…” Shiverr drawled thoughtfully. “We could tell each other some horror stories in order to keep ourselves up through the night. While distracting each other from the storm of course!”
“I mean, I’m definitely down!” Tokyo laughed, a grin forming on her face. The two Pokémon sat up, preparing to tell each other their little stories, their boredom essentially melting away with each one.
