Elias strode around the small community, passing Kebs that talked with others and others purchased from stalls. Many pointed and whispered amongst each other, letting others know the Keb who saved Broken Reef was back. He was considered a hero, and everyone in Broken Reef knew who he was and what accomplishments he had earned.

The Red Scorpion was docked at Broken Reef, a place Elias hasn't been to in ages, though everyone knew who he was. It made his heart flutter excitedly whenever someone said something to him.

He was known as the Scorpion King for much of his pirate life, having taken on new crewmates and the old passing on word of his victories. No one on the ship hasn't not heard of his accomplishments, and Elias took great pride in the that, and showed it too. His whole ship was battle worn and tough, and showed many scars over its years. It was lined with gold highlights, laid over the wooden scars and burns inlaid within the grooves. Small and realistic gems were embedded into the hull, however fake ones of course.

It's large sails flapped against the mast, and glistened in a shiny gold canvas, a Keb skull design surrounded by daggers stitched to the front. Many tassles and lanterns lined the ships front, each light illuminating the deck below. The moon was high as Elias stepped up onto the dock of his ship, crew members and helpers lined the deck, restocking their supplies and preparing to set out. Lights hung along the banisters and railings that lead to the lower decks.

Elias waved at Kebs as he passed, giving each one a friendly smile that went by him. He walked up to a set of double wide, thick oak doors, with a small chain was looped through the two handles. A lock hung from the chain, and Elias pulled the key out of a little pouch around his neck. The black skull shaped key clicked into the lock and with a smooth twist, the lock snapped open. The painted Keb collected the chain looped between the two handles, and with a hefty shove, pushed one large door open to slip inside.

He walked up the stairs that led to his quarters, and pushed aside the curtain between him and a good rest. His room was lined with soft glowing lanterns with flickering purple flames within, and photos and drawings of him and his friends lined the walls. He smiled fondly as he admired the memories that hung above his bed, the collage on his wall a mix of all sorts of colors and Kebs, each one looking vastly different from another.

Elias gazed up at the painting of his former captain, and the one who gave him the ship. He lightly slid a paw down the wooden frame, collecting dust as he went down. He figured he'd have to clean it soon, he thought as he continued his little walk. The floor was worn and beat up from all the traffic, imprints of trails from days of countless pacing back and forth while thinking.

The Kebanzu finally ended his small walk around memory lane, stopping at the first place he began. He sat down on his bed and blew out the lantern keeping the small space lit. He stretched out and got comfor, falling asleep peacefully in his favorite place to be.
