Thunder cracked, shaking the walls of the old warehouse and sending a soul-shaking tremor of bass through the floor. Strider felt the vibrations surge up his legs, through his hands and skull as he stared intently at the far wall, his eyes locked onto his target. Taking a deep breath, he shifted from one foot to the other, shaking his hands out in anticipation. Another flash of lightning shone through the large windows lining the top of the walls, casting barred shadows on the cold concrete and causing the digital display on the arm of his jacket to ripple. With one swift movement, he threw his arm forward, pointing at the center of the spray-painted target.

The pixels seemed to peel off the fabric, detaching from the surface in a wave of color before following the momentum of his arm, coiling around it before launching towards the wall in a bright stream of holographic light. The colors hit the center of the target, exploding on impact and shattering into thousands of tiny sparks, drawing an excited whoop from Strider.

He pumps his fist into the air on the success of the test run, a smile splitting his face as the pixels fly back to him, weaving together in the air before him and condensing into the shape of a small Eastern dragon. The newly-formed holo-beast wiggled its long body, bobbing its head up and down before spinning in circles. Strider had yet to work in a sound system for his very experimental project, but he could practically hear the AI's giddy chirps as it bounced back and forth between his arms and flew up and around his head.

"Alright Ludo," he grins, waving the dragon over as it dissolved into pixels, laying flat against his jacket arm. "Let's go again."
