Dream Weaver's Backstory

Lyra Lurch was bitten by a lab-experiment spider while on a college internship with Oscorp. This spider was created by Dr. Curtis Conners to test future-seeing abilities. Upon being bit, Lyra started getting extremely vivid dreams that would occasionally predict the future. These dreams ended up being visions into potential outcomes of the next day (which works as a kind of "spider-sense"). Later on, Lyra would find out that she can climb walls, can shoot webs out of her wrist, and has fangs. 

Initially, Lyra was hesitant about using their powers to be a superhero and just wanted to ignore that they existed at all. However, upon stopping a mugging, they realized how much their powers are needed. After being Dream Weaver for a couple of months, Lyra started dating Max Stacy. Also, around this time, Dream Weaver started fighting an anarchist called the Phoenix.  Unfortunately, Lyra and Max learned each others' secret identities mid-fight. This leads Max down an even darker path, and the two break up.

Lyra then slowly gained feelings for their roommate, MJ. In return, MJ started gaining feelings for Dream Weaver, the masked hero. Over time, MJ finally learned Lyra's secret, and the two become a couple.
