Beach Episode

Amity was always THE person to turn to for the hottest scoop around. Not to mention she was probably the bird who loved the beach more than anyone else ever. Says who? Private source. But once she had heard of the Starwell that opened up near her favorite place--none other than Sor Solir--she was not going to miss the opportunity to cover the story before anyone else. She packed her things practically overnight, but it was almost impossible to find a place to stay: the area was so unbelievably busy with tourists, all the hotels, tents, and resorts were practically full. People had even resorted to simply camping in sleeping bags on the sand just to be near the Starwell. Amity absolutely would not have it to just do nothing, let alone not try, so as fast as she could, she lent a Sol Roc from the stables and flew the distance, leaving her friend, a small green bird, behind to take care of her fans.

As soon as she had landed she was already hitting the ground running, camera in hand and taking photos of all the people and attractions. She really hoped she had enough memory for this... Huffing, she dashed around, the sand making it hard for her to move nimbly. She was honestly just snapping photos randomly at this point. The area was so saturated, anything made for a good picture. There were stalls of merchandise for the Starwell already (how did anyone have time?). Plushes of strange sea creatures, Talonfish, a Muse's Treasure, and hand-woven crafts dotted the kiosks. People were advertising bait and some kind of fishing rod that seemed like a big deal. Even the smell of roasted food was enough to turn her head in that direction, following with her nose instead of her camera.

Wait! She shakes her head. She can't let herself get this distracted! There was so much more to see... With a wistful sigh, she pulls herself away from some roasted geck and towards the large gaping pool.
