Flooding emotions

As soon as the mage and the scientist appear back in the lab Screks grabs his own head in distress and ruffles up his own hair.

"UgHHHHH WHY did this have to HAPPEN???? WHY, why with him what did the human boy even do? What did we do, this shouldn't be happening he was NOTHING to deal with it, this SHOULDN'T BE A THING this sucks, this is horrible I cannot do this UGHHHH I HATE THIS" - the doctor exclaims, clearly distressed pacing around the room in circles, the pitch of his voice going all over the place as he screeches in panic.

"It's okay he is going to be okay, we will figure... something, just something out we...we always do." - Katsu answers his voice slightly shaky and clearly unsure of himself, trying to calm his partner down but understandably being pretty freaked out by the situation as well.

"NO, nO it is NOT """""okay"""""" NOTHING about this is okay it is NOT! THis is HORRIBLE, a horrible, horrible turn of events ugh." - Screks answers gesturing extravagantly at every word. - "I hate this I CANNOT deal with this, it's flooding my brain I can't, I can't WHY DID it have to be him WHY NOW this SUCKS its always the people we get CLOSE with I CANNOT go through this AGAIN " - the scientist grabs at his chest as he talks, shaking slightly and staring to pace loudly in circles, beginning hitting the ground repeatedly with his right foot as he stops to look as Katsu for a few moments, going back to pacing while grabbing his own head and shaking it as he does so.

"We'll figure it out, he is okay, we're okay, nothing is gonna happen, it's going to be fine" - the mage mumbles, breathing in and out slowly, trying to calm himself down and collect himself after the stressful situation.

"Katsu I can't it's fucking, it's fucking everywhere I cannot do this, it is flooding EVERYTHING." - the doctor starts to scratch his own head as he paces loudly once again, his movements becoming more and more sporadic as he continues to get consumed by these strong feelings he doesn't want to feel.

Katsu notices his partner becoming more and more unsteady as time goes on and goes over to the doctor, putting his hands on his shoulders, to stop him from pacing around.

"Screks, it's okay, nothing is gonna happen listen to my voice." - Katsu asks, trying to reassure his partner.

"No, no, no, no, NO IT'S FUCKING NOT IT IS NOT AND NO ITS A NO BIG NO, BIGGEST FUCKING NO NO FROM ME NO I CANT IT'S NOT OKAY IT'S FUCKING NOT" - Screks' eyes tremble vigorously as does his body as he declares, while continuing to repeatedly shake his leg and hit his foot on the ground violently while grabbing and his lab coat, pulling and pushing it as if it's making him itchy or uncomfortable in some way.

"Cael, listen you have to-"

"NO! No, don't you fucking call me that it's too much I cannot deal with one more right now I CANNOT do this it's flooding, and it DOESNT FUCKING STOP" - the doctor aggressively interrupts the mage as he continues to pull at his coat and his own hair his whole body shaking.

"Screks listen to me, listen to my voice you have to calm down." - Katsu says as gently as he can, worry filling his face seeing his partner on the brink of a breakdown as he goes and gently grabs Screks' organic hand, feeling Screks hand trembling uncontrollably as he holds it close, his other hand still on his partner's shoulder as his magical hair starts wrapping gently around the doctor.

"No, no, no, no i-its wrong it's not good noooooot good not right not correct it is not how it's not it is not how it should it just not and nope nope nope nope not no" - Screks continues to ramble, his speech becoming more nonsensical as his brain struggles to keep track with the strength of the emotions he is feeling.

Seeing his partner's distress Katsu tries to hug him, but the Doctor just stands there for a second and after a moment pushes the mage away aggressively, stepping back.

"No, stop that I don't want that, get off me, I don't like that it's too much, too fucking much." - the doctor responds still distressed his hands gesturing in negation extravagantly in front of him.

Katsu immediately stops trying to hold his partner who continues to make repetitive motions with his foot and pulling at himself, blinking his eyes rapidly while staring at nothing.

"I hate this I hate feelings these emotions that are clouding everything I hate this one more and more and more every time and I cannot deal with it it's too much and it's horrible and it's flooding everything and I cannot think well and it's just making me not I... I... I can't do this" - Screks holds at his head again, this time with both hands as he jolts it down staring at the ground, and feels himself losing strength on his organic leg, going with it towards the ground.

Katsu worriedly holds his partner before he can hit the ground, so he doesn't hurt himself, but as the mage touches Screks, the doctor immediately slaps his hands away.

"NO! Do NOT touch me, too much is happening too much is touching and scratching and pulling and holding I cannot deal with this it's too much I can't! - the doctor points angrily at the mage as he exclaims, his hands trembling a lot, very clearly.

"Screks please you have to calm yourself down if... if... If you keep going on a spiral like that you can go-"

"Im NOT going to go unstable STOP being a fearful dumbass, you're just being stupid, stupid, stupid, I am FINE!!" -  the doctor opens his arms extravagantly - "See???????" - he grabs at his lab coat again pulling it, his whole body shaking. - "It's the feeling the... the the fucking stupid fucking thing that burns in HEREEEE!!" - he grabs at his head tightly again, squeezing it and then starting to knock on it. - "HEREEE IT SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS ITSS ALLLLL FLOODED AND IT DOESNT STOPPPPP!!" - he shakes his head, closing his eyes tightly.

"Screks, that's anger, you're feeling anger, and it's mixing with worry and other emotions you're having a breakdown I need you to breathe slowly and-"

"I AM LOOK, LOOK LOOK" - the doctor breaths loudly and extravagantly in a sarcastic matter letting out an unwanted giggle after - "IM ALIVE IM BREATHING if I stopped FUCKING breathing I wouldn't be ALIVE you MORON, STUPID, STUPID, STUPID MAGE " - the doctors breathing becomes heavier as his body trembles even more as he continues with the exaggerated gestures.

"Screks I-"

"SHUT UP" - the doctor shouts, holding his head as he does, completely losing strength in his lower body which makes him go with his knees towards the ground. - "I can't, I can't I cannot deal with this mage I can't". - He covers his ears tightly as he continues to tremble vigorously in distress.

Katsu gets down with him, worried about his partner but as he reaches out to touch him he hears the scientist's voice once more.

"...please help me..." - the doctor's voice is weak and shaky, as he holds his head even tighter, looking at the ground with his eyes wide open and trembling non-stop.

As he hears the doctor's plea he hugs him again, their touch being a trigger for them to be teleported to the middle of some sort of lake inside a cavern full of blue crystals.

The doctor's body immediately flitches up making him stand on his feet again.

"What, why what where why are we here this is not it's not I can't I" - the doctor releases his head as he feels the cold water of his feet and legs a shiver going up his spine as he panicked and looks at the water as if it's hurting him in some way and tries to step away from it.

"Cael, please, listen to my voice. I need you to listen to me, please." - Katsu says in a gentle tone, getting closer to the distressed scientist.

"I...I-I am I have ears I can listen it's cold why are we here I can't do this I-"

Katsu interrupts him by holding both his hands, intertwining the doctor's fingers with his own, making the doctor's body jerk back as a jolt goes through his body making him twitch as if he is in pain.

"Look at me, I need you to look at me Cael, please." - Katsu steps closer, holding his partner's hands gently but with enough strength so that the scientist can't get away from his grip.

"I-I can't Its. Its-"

"Cael..." - Katsu calls out softly, in a calm voice, his tone gentle and reassuring.

The doctor with a heavy breathing and trying to push himself away and step back from his partner's hold, starts looking at the mage and away repeatedly, as Katsu attempts to make the doctor ground himself.

"Tell me, what color are my eyes?" - Katsu asks gently stepping closer, not letting the doctor get away.

"u-Uhm? That stupid, stupid mage with his stupid question I-"

"Please" - Katsu's plea sends another shiver up Screk's spine, who closes his eyes tightly once again. - "I know you can do it, I need you to tell me their color." - he continues to ask in a gentle and soft tone.

"U-uhm..." - the doctor opens his eyes and gives a quick look at Katsu's red eyes before looking away. - "Red they are red, your eyes are red, of course " - he answers with a weak voice, his body still shaking as he tries to move his hands to the sides, without success as Katsu holds them in place firmly. 

The doctor doesn't step back this time.

"Are you sure?" - Katsu asks once more gently

"Y-Yes I'm sure. I'm the sure kind of sure where I'm sure." - the scientist blurts out, still looking away.

"Can you please check again? Please Cael." - hearing his name being called sends another shiver up the doctor's spine and he closes his eyes again tightly, but immediately tries to open them and starts blinking rapidly as if fighting the urge to close them again.

"Uhm" - the doctor hesitantly looks at the mage again - "Red, they're red, you have red eyes." - he says as he stares at the magician's eyes, still blinking rapidly while trying to move his hands away, but his body starting to shake less.

"How's the water?" - the mage asks softly.

"Uhm it's..." - Screks goes to look down at the water but Katsu's magical braid lightly nudges on his partner's chin, stopping him from looking down.

"Can you tell me without looking at it? Please, tell me how the water feels Cael, I need to know." - Katsu continues to ask gently.

"Uhm it's, it...it's cold, it's very cold, it's freezing." - the scientist says still blinking repeatedly, but not as rapidly, his movements starting to become less aggressive.

"Can you concentrate on that feeling for me for a second?" - Katsus steps up towards the doctor as he says this.

"U-uhm yeah, the cold? Cold it is cold, the water the cold." - Screks repeats to himself, staring at his partner's eyes without looking away or blinking exceedingly this time, his eyes shaking less.

And as he says that Katsus closes his eyes slowly, opening them again to continue to look at his partner right after, and as he does so Screks feels the temperature of the water change.

"Uhm- it's not cold anymore" - Screks points out, his shoulders starting to relax.

"What is it like now?" - Katsu gets even closer, both now being close enough so their arms are not stretched out.

"It... it's warm, the water is warm now" - Screks mumbles his breathing steadily becoming less sporadic.

Katsu lets go of Screk's hands and the doctor doesn't try to step away or grab at himself, letting his own hands fall slowly at his sides.

"The water heated up and it's warm now." - Screks repeats, taking a deep breath right after, feeling himself calm down more.

Katsu steps up to him gently nudging his hand on his partner's cheek, which once again makes the scientist twitch slightly but clearly not as much as before.

"Are you better now?" - Katsu asks with a light smile tracing his face seeing that his partner is finally able to calm down

"Yeah, yes thank you, Katsu... It's- the emotions are not flooding anymore." - Screks explains, his voice now back to his typical pitch.

"I'm glad. We'll figure this out alright? We always do." - Katsu says, as he gently strokes his partner's cheek with his finger.

"Yeah... We... we will it's going to be okay. We're okay." - Screks hovers his hand over the mage's one, softly placing it above Katsu's, after a moment.

"I'm here with you, everything is going to be okay." - Katsu places his other hand on the doctor's shoulder once again, stroking it reassuringly with a light smile.
