A flower blooms
A blossom grows
The olden oak
Beckons and tolls
To me, the child
Born of the earth
To heed the call
Of Nature's song
The grass blades whistle
While tree's bark moans
The flowers giggle
The dirt just groans.
Their forgotten music
Fills my head
With wondrous melodies
Which would calm the dead.
I aim to tame
The music's sound
To spread it from
Town to town.
Spread the song
Of Nature's kiss
With this viol
Strapped to my hip.
I sing the praises
To the Earth
I have finally
Found my worth;
When the strings sing
My heart does soar.
Back to my garden
Forevermore.
