A long time ago, it is said that the muse Clio fell in love with a mortal. Knowing her history, and the history that had not yet happened yet, she knew the pain she would feel if she fell in love. Yet, she loved him. When their child Myuz was born, they parted ways, though they still met up secretly from time to time. Clio did not know her child had inherited immortality, for historically, it was very unlikely that the child of an immortal would be immortal themself without great deeds. And, without either parent knowing, her child was immortal. And being of the muses, could not appear in the books of history themselves, as otherwise historians would change the path of the world. So Clio was unaware of her child alone after the death of the minotaur she loved. Unaware the child still lives. And Myuz still looks for their mother. Nowadays, they are totally just about to go to Mount Parnassus to meet their mother and aunts. Totally. As soon as they finish their work. And clean their carriage. And go on a quest. And change your pronouns. And deal with the effects of their rolls. And you know, it isn’t like putting it off for another day would matter much, after all it’s been like.....a few thousand years. Maybe more. No biggie. Yeah. Myuz is totes about to go meet their family. Trust them. |
