Sarah was in her own room, at least he assumed so, sleeping. Mark loved his sister. She always had this energy around her. Like they were sent by some higher power, given to him by God. Mark shivered at the thought.

Thinking about when they were kids, Mark shut his eyes. He thinks of the promises he has broken over the years they have known each other and he frowns. Maybe they meant nothing to Sarah. He knew they did. He knows he lied.
