General Terms
✯ Upon soliciting a commission with me, the client is agreeing with the conditions made explicit in this page.
✯ My terms may change with the time, it's the client's responsibility to read them before commissioning me.
✯ In the case the client refuses agreement or compliance, I reserve myself the right to cancel the commission.
✯ You have to be 18 years old or more to commission me.
✯ Art pieces made by me are made to be personal use only, non commercial, and always credited. Those who break these rules can be blocked and blacklistes without warning.
My Process
✯ Usually, my commissions are first come first serve, but I won't take more than 3 per month, since that's the time I usually take to finish simple illustrations.
✯ I'll contact the client with prints of the illustration, everytime I reach a certain state (such as finished sketch, lineart, flat colors, shading, light and final art.)
✯ Please have visual reference at the ready, and suggestions or ideas of the pose and expression for your illustration. I need at the very least, one colored full body image of the character, for I do not offer character design. I can suggest small things if I feel like it helps the outcome, but I need the client's idea to start.
✯ Major changes are better to be made as soon as possible, like in the sketching state. After that, too many big changes will be charged.
✯ Please ask for the corresponding changes at the right stages if possible, as soon as I show you them. (For example, pose changes at the sketch, color changes while I'm coloring, before the shading and rendering begins, etc.)
✯ My work days are from Monday to Friday. I do not reply to messages on weekends. I do have other activities on weekdays, so I apologise if I take some time to reply to messages. May timezones be on our side.
✯ Should the client request something too divergent from my current skills, we can negociate the order into something I can provide based on my skillset and price. If no agreement can be reached, I reserve myself the right to deny the order.
✯ There's a few elements I reserve myself the right to deny drawing, such as but not limited to: real people's portraits, be them celebrities or not, hateful imagery, fetish and paraphilias be them explicit or implicit, mecha, gore or overly precise and detailed designs.
✯ I always post my art on Twitter, Ko-fi, Tumblr and Instagram (Zealothia on all). You can ask me to @ you on the post, just mention your name, or not. It is your choice. In any case, the images I post publicly are full res but with multiple watermarks for safety against art theft.
Copyright
✯ The client has rights over their characters and intelectual property, but I have the rights over the illustration I am providing.
✯ The client may repost the image I'm providing in any social media you want, as long as you credit me by name (Zealothia) or link. Specially if the image is cropped or edited (as in icons, pfps, headers, banners, etc.).
✯ No one has permission to resell or profit off of my art in any way, be it by printing or merch, or by selling their characters. No commercial use at all. The ONLY exception to this rule are the png ilustrations and model art for vtubers, for these may be used in videos or live streams ONLY, and not printed merch.
✯ No one has my persmission to use my art in any type of blockchains, including NFTs, cryptocurrencies, Artificial Intelligence or similar technology that may be developed in the future. This is non negotiable.
✯ No one has the right to remove my signature from the image, or claim it was made by any person other than me.
✯ All the images commissioned will be sent tot the client via a google drive link, containing a folder with the client's screen name. This folder is available for one month.
✯ All my art are sold with a Personal Use License only.
Payment and Communication
✯ Please keep our discussions about your comissions in our Discord or Ko-fi direct messages, for both our organization.
✯ I always accept the full price of the commission before starting to draw it, having at most shown a starter, basic sketch to the client. I never deliver the final image without recieving the full price of the commission.
✯ All payments are to be made through Ko-fi.
✯ Please avoid constantly contacting me for updates and prints of progress for your commission. This disrupts and holds back the progress of your illustration, as well as my whole workflow.
✯ I reserve myself the right to cancel a commission at any moment if I feel the client may be having an inappropriate behavior towards me, such as but not limited to: flirting, roleplaying or insisting on it, being rude, asking for or oversharing personal information, harassment. Refunds WON'T be provided in these cases.
✯ Please respect your place on my queue. Have in mind my usual time of workflow (a month) when you consider commissioning me, for I prefer to not rush illustrations, in order to keep a consistent quality.
✯ Please be aware that I do not emulate or copy the stylization of other artists. I respect my artists peers and their craft, so I avoid similarities. I am always up to listening a client's suggestion, but please do have in mind that some things may be beyond my current art skills.
✯ If necessary, the client may request so that I do not share any WIPs or show the art in my livestreams on Twitch. This must be communicated as soon as the order is made. In this case, I will also ask for the client to not publicly share any of the progress images, so both of us will only be able to post the final piece publicly.
Cancellations
✯ Full refunds are only possible if I haven't even started the lineart.
✯ If the illustration is finished, refunds are not possible at all, so please do not insist.
✯ If by any personal reasons I have to stop working on your commission and cancel it, I'll provide a refund that reflects the stage of the illustration.
✯ Accepted refunds may take up to 30 days to be made, starting from the day they were negociated and agreed upon.
