Nyssa lounged back on the rocky shore as she watched Sirius play among the water, frequently leaping from the water and diving in the deeper water. Although they had so far had minimal luck searching the legendary feathers Benji spoke of, they had at least managed to find a handful of various trinkets. Sal would no doubt be willing to exchange a few credits for them. While it was not much, it would certainly make the travel worth their time.

Benji’s vague descriptions of the mythical feathers had proven to be... less than ideal. Although her dedication to the task still had not wavered, Nyssa could not help but wonder if they were simply a legend meant to bring hope in the face of the Calamity. She absentmindedly toyed at her own set of feathers, glowing softly like many of her family members. Although they were of incredible sentimental value to her, she could not imagine they would be of much practical use. Though she respected Benji, she could not help but wonder if he was grasping at false hope.

Nyssa heard a high-pitched trill behind her and turned to find that Orion had climbed a nearby tree. He appeared to be excited about something up in the branches and continued to make a range of noises, no doubt trying to get her attention.

“I’ll be right back, Sirius,” Nyssa called out to her other companion as she climbed the embankment.

Sirius glanced towards her briefly, but otherwise seemed unbothered as his dived back under the water. Nyssa craned her head backwards as she watched Orion hop among the branches. With his long legs and short wings, he was surprisingly agile as he leaped higher into the tree. She watched curiously as he disappeared into the leaves, only to reappear a few seconds later with a bundle in his mouth. Nyssa watched with interest as Orion climbed down the tree in short jumps, presenting his find proudly.
